Sri-you're magic! - I want to leave a good review of this hotel and what was involved on and off the premises. We've only been on vacation with our husband for six nights, but what... we've seen so much in that time, it seems like most of it, but of course it's not. Sri Lanka is something magical. Every corner here wants to take pictures, listen and just enjoy your stay. We had everything on so we tried everything! The food is island. Fish weren't very strange, but served crabs (somehow in the clare) and seafood. From drinks like everywhere water, tea, coffee, soda and juices, and alcohol. By the way, alcohol is very much nothing, liked the Jin Jan cocktail. In addition to the basic three meals a day, there are snacks before lunch and before dinner. The animation is just aquaerobics in the pool. Excellent location of the hotel relative to others along this coast. Bright umbrellas, beautiful ocean entry, there are waves, there is always a red flag, but swimming is not forbidden, just don't go far and it will be ok! to the right there is a small bay where you can swim in peace. Rooms are clean, clean and change towels and bed every day. It's a shame there's nothing in the minibar, but there's always water and a tea and coffee set. Euro sockets-take the adapter. We didn't have any mosquitoes... no animals in the room. Please note that very high humidity, you can not take steelworkers, straighteners, etc. They will not help. Bring some swimsuits because things don't dry practically! The sunsets are amazing! Behind the fence sit the locals, not molested, but very friendly and sympathetic. One of them is Indika he speaks Russian. Take you on a tour, buy you a coconut or tell you where best to buy fruit, tea or natural decorations or change the money for local currency, or advise a restaurant right by the sea with delicious shrimp and fish....I will highly recommend it to you as a guide, because it is he who can take you to the locations you like, not on the itinerary of that tour where there will be 12-15 people. Indica takes you wherever you want in a tuktuk. We went to five locations a day, emotions running high, 100,500 photos. Even made it to dinner! Excellent Service - excellent service in all departments. A welcoming location that features delectable fare along with an elegant appearance and atmosphere. The Palms hotel's supporting staff is always a blessing for guests staying at the establishment. I had a wonderful lunch that was presented in a high-quality manner and had a good selection of items on the menu, one of which was Sri Lankan cuisine. Both the rooms and the pool have been meticulously cleaned. The hotel can be found in a location that is immediately adjacent to the beach. At the beach, we participated in a wide variety of activities that were both fun and relaxing. A huge thank you to everyone on staff for helping to make today one of the most memorable days of our lives.

Positive stay - I enjoyed the staff who are really friendly. Meals are varied. The spa is run by an amazing person who is taking care of you and listening. Very pleasant massage. Saranga at the pool is also very considerate.

Nice location, but not a nice room! - Rating 'good' because the location is fantastic: right on the Indian Ocean, with surfing and snorkeling, beautiful beaches, what more could you want? The pool, the garden around it, the friendly staff, all fine. A big but: the rooms are damp, even though I left the air conditioning running all day, I still stepped into a wet, damp bed every night. The pillows were also wet, not nice to put your head on. Towels couldn't be dried and my suitcase contents were also damp. I stayed here the last days of my trip, fortunately, otherwise the weather would have moved in. The room is otherwise large, but not really cozy... Good shower! Restaurant is good, lots of choice and a Spa treatment is definitely worth it!
