Great day trip - Picked up from our hotel by the bus and guide on time. Bus was nice and air conditioned, guide was tri-lingual and did the tour in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Plenty of time allowed in the town.

Full day trip - Picked up on time nice ac bus. Tour guide spoke 3 languages throughout the day. Did a great job, very knowledgeable. You have about 2.5 hours to walk around and get lunch. Very enjoyable, Temps were in the 80s but nice breeze to keep comfortable. Tour pickup at 8am dropoff at 6pm. Full day. Drive is nice through rolling hills, agriculture and farms. Nice stop at farm for bathroom break and to visit little museum of Guinness world record for most pencils. The owner gives the tour. Overall great day

Great way to check out... - Great way to check out Colonia by yourself. With the exception of the useless stop at the Granja Colonia, this tour is great! Not too much talking and well paced!

Sacramento: Maravilloso. - Great trip to Colonia del Sacramento. Carmen, our very professional guide. I regret not remembering the names of the drivers who were also very gentle. Sacramento offers magnificent scenery.

Informative, Fun, and Laid Back - I had a great time throughout the trip. Marcelo, our guide, did an excellent job teaching us the history of the different locations we were in, fun facts about Uruguay, and making sure all of our questions were answered. The balance of free time to explore the town with the short structured tour of the town, with visits to the old bull fighting arena and museum of collectibles was perfect. Would recommend even for solo travelers.

I liked it, and if I would recommend it - The guide is very lively and gentle. The good thing is that they show you the most important places and then give you free time to tour.

Go for the stories and sights. Skip the stores. - The guide and driver were excellent. The tour was good though not as interesting as I thought for a UNESCO site. A bit too many tourist shops with the same things.

Colonia was beautiful but the tour guide spoke too fast - Colonia was beautiful and it was nice to take a bus back and forth rather than drive there ourselves. However, this tour included visitors who spoke English, Spanish and Portuguese. The tour guide clearly spoke all three languages but she spoke them all so fast that she could not be well understood in any of them. We ended up having to read the signs in town to fully understand what we were seeing. In addition, as we were driving past landmarks by the time she got to explain in English we were well past what she was talking about. I think if this tour was in one language only she might have time to slow down.

Made me sick - Full large bus with many people coughing and sneezing. Little to no ventilation. Have been sick in bed for the balance of my vacation. Tour was basic. Guide was friendly.
