We loved it! - Andres, our guide, was amazing! He was super friendly and shared tons of interesting information about Uruguay and Colonia del Sacramento on the ride out to the winery. The winery itself was beautiful. You’ll get a brief history of the family (and wine, generally, in Uruguay), a tour, and a tasting. We opted for the lunch add on, which was killer with a super tasty vegetarian option. Ryan was also so great! He was super communicative about the day. And, he helped us get acquainted with Colonia del Sacramento. He sent tons of awesome recs for us to check out while visiting. Highly recommend :)

Excellent and amazing service - Our guide was Andres, lovely guy, who shared with us a little history of Colonia while we were going to the wine experience. Once there they tell you the story about the family and the wine business, the making process and finally to the wine tasting, as you enjoy the famous barbaque (parrillada) filled with the best cuts of meat. A definitely MUST DO in Colonia!

Colonia wine fun! - Our guide, Andres, made the experience extra special! His knowledge of the area and the winery was amazing. We visited the winery off season so his knowledge allowed us to understand the total process of making wine. The Fripp winery is beautiful and the wine is amazing. We had a wonderful time!

Winery and new friends - Andes, our guide, made the experience so wonderful! We visited the vineyard off season and his knowledge helped us fill in the process of making the wine. The winery is quaint and beautiful. Definitely recommend!

Amazing!! - Had an amazing time with our guide Andres! We were picked up at our hotel and brought to the winery where we had an in depth tour and great food. Oh and wine of course!! Everything went smoothly and it was all coordinated by Ryan. Would love to come back and visit when it is summer here in Uruguay, would also be a great venue for a wedding!!

Loved our day @ Fripp! - From start to finish had a fabulous day visiting Fripp Bodega. Arrangements thru Viatar with Ryan providing communication and guidance for our short visit. Fabian picked us up at the hotel and we had a lovely drive thru the countryside with an interesting history provided along the way. Loved our time at the winery, small family run with a short tour of the operations. Have been to many wineries, and this was charming. The wine and lunch was delicious. Several wines all unique and plenty to taste. The food was equally delicious. Naps were required following our day drinking and eating! Highly recommend.

Excellent day at the winery. - Loved the wine lovers tour. We got to see the workings a a family winery followed by an excellent 3 course lunch and of course we got to try many excellent wines. Our guide Fabian was great, very knowledgeable on all thing Uruguay and speaks English very well.

Boutique winery, wonderful food, stunning vistas - Great fun. So much more than wine. Fabian is a guide and host that made us feel welcomed on arrival, Ryan from The Wine Experience was a terrific communicator and even offered tips for coffee and cocktail spots. Now for the wine. Fripp boutique winery was our destination and its wine was delicious as was the beautifully prepared lunch. Bernice ( an owner) gave us our tour and even let us sample grape varieties. A peaceful, tranquil and delicious experience. Arrive thirsty and with an appetite. Also a beautiful way to see a bit of Uraguay !
