You gotta do it! - Great program. Roger was great! Explanations so clear, very knowledgeable, interesting, and good humor as well. We loved it!

Great learning experience and a lot of fun! - Great experience with Roger! He was very informative and I learned a lot of things I had never thought of before. Getting to hold a falcon was great, as well as watching the hawk hunt for a bit.

Excellent Falconry experience! - Excellent falconry exhibition with the Broadmoor Outfitters. Deanna was our exceptional Falconer assisted by Tyler and Gabe as shuttle drivers. They drive you from the parking lot at 6 Lake Avenue to the mews where they have several birds and then they drive you out for the "hawk walk" where you get to experience a hawk hunt as well as hold and touch a falcon. You have to arrive at the parking lot 15 minutes before the time, which we didn't know in advance, but the team was very kind about it when we arrived at the time on ticket (not late). From the parking lot you can walk through a gap in the fence to the green trimmed house right beside it, which you would have seen at the corner turning in for the free parking lot. Every member of your party must have a ticket to go on this tour and see the birds. You don't have to hold the falcon at the end. But that was a thrill! I don't want to give away too much but it's a great experience. I imagine that children would absolutely love this, as long as they aren't afraid of large birds flying around their head. They have 6-8 birds of prey at the mews and you get to see all and touch a couple. During the hawk walk our hawk was quite active and we also saw some birds of prey wheeling high up in the sky which Deanna also was knowledgeable about. I liked that she enjoyed us asking questions. One of my favorite excursions ever! - Deanna was incredible and this was one of the best days of my life 😂. Seriously incredible to learn, see, and hold the birds up close!

Birds of prey experience - Amazing experience. Up close and personal with owls, falcons, hawks. Deanna, the handler ( falconer) is dedicated and so knowledgeable. I will do this again for sure!

We will be going back and taking the next course! - We both loved the birds and the instructor was very informative. Can't wait until we do the next course.

Bird-Terrific!!! - Generally, we're underwhelmed with hotel field trips/ events, so happy we were wrong at the falconry demonstration!!! We should have known better, as this is associated with the Broadmoor Hotel- they never do anything less than 110%! We lucked out with Deanna as the falconer with us and Issiah as our driver & field photographer. Deanna is a natural, with people and even more so with the birds! She was so informative and provided a hands-on opportunity for us.

Great experience. - This was a once in a lifetime experience. It was entertaining and educational. If you are questioning if you should do this or not, you should. The falconer, Deana, was spectacular.

Absolutely Mortified - I purchased one ticket as my wife was afraid to hold the birds. When I arrived they informed me she could not go along and observe as a non participant. I was not about to leave my 75 yr old wife in the parking lot for 2 hours. They would not give me a refund. Nothing on the site explained this. What a ripoff.
