US Olympic & Paralympic Museum is a must see! - Visiting the the US Olympic and Paralympic museum is such a treat! The history in that building is pretty phenomenal. The Olympic and Paralympic displays and information are all mixed in together and highlights the greatness of all of the athletes and their equipment. The history highlighting things like Jesse Owen’s during the 1936 Olympics, the Israeli team massacre, and Tommie Smith and John Carlos on the podium is so good to be reminded of. The displays are beautifully done. The first thing you encounter is all of the torches from over the years. To see all of the different designs all together is so interesting. The hands on area allows us to get a feel for how hard it is to do what these athletes do. It blew my mind to see the measurement of Bob Beaumon’s long jump Olympic record painted on the floor. Seeing all of the different medals from all of the different Olympics was fascinating. The tour ends with an incredibly powerful short film about the Olympics and Paralympics. This museum is well worth the price. If you are in CO Springs it’s a must see!

Awesome tour guide - We did a group tour, and our guide, Ricky was amazing. He spoke loud enough so everyone could hear him, even over the High School Band playing in the lobby. He is very knowledgeable, and there was no question he could not answer. There were a lot of questions asked. He never rushed us and pointed out very interesting things.
At the end of our tour, we found out that we were his first tour (you would never have known). Thank you, Ricky, for an amazing tour.

Incredible, Interactive, and Truly Inspiring! - Our visit to the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum was absolutely worth it! I was initially hesitant about the cost, but the interactive tech experiences made it well worth the price. The exhibits were engaging, and I learned so much—especially about the Paralympics and how the Games have impacted the global community. The athlete stories were truly inspiring!
The museum is also designed with accessibility in mind, with features that ensure an inclusive experience for all visitors. The architecture and flow of the museum were well thought out, creating a modern and immersive experience.
It was a bit busy, but nothing overwhelming. We visited during the off-season in a snowstorm, so that probably helped! There’s plenty of paid parking right in front of the museum, which made getting in and out super easy.
We spent 4-5 hours exploring, and as two adults with no kids, we were completely engaged the whole time. The staff was friendly at every turn—from the front desk to the exhibits to the gift shop.
If you’re in Colorado Springs, this is a must-visit! Whether you love sports, history, or just want an inspiring experience, this museum delivers.

Five star + museum. One star reservation set-up. - A wonderful well-done presentation of the Olympics and Paralympics. Lots of history, relating to the events of the games and other things, like the murder of the Israeli athletes in 1972. Very worthwhile.
There was a glitch in the reservation. I was sent a confirmation number which did not show up in the museum's computer. The staff quickly figured out what to do (after several people came over and fiddled with the computer) and we only were delayed about 15 minutes. Annoying but tolerable.
In any case the museum was fabulous. Don't miss if you're in the area.
