• The Ploegsteert Memorial - The Ploegsteert Memorial to the Missing is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) memorial in Belgium for missing soldiers of World War I. It commemorates men from the Allied Powers who fought on the northern Western Front outside the Ypres Salient and whose graves are unknown.

• Island of Ireland Peace Park - In the Irish Peace Park in Mesen, a round tower serves as a memorial in honour of Irishmen of all denominations who died during the First World War.
• Bayernwald - This unique German site is located between the villages of Wijtschate and Voormezele near Ypres. Bayernwald is the German response to alleged nearby tunnelling efforts by the British.
• Hill 60 - This hill was created by the earth excavated from the adjacent railway cutting. In 1914 it was captured by the Germans from the French. Later, this sector was taken over by the British, who began an underground war of mines and counter-mines.
