- Casa Grande Ruins National Monument - This site features a well-preserved collection of Hohokam structures from the Classic Period (1150-1450). The name Casa Grande translates to “big house” in Spanish. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1966. Father Kino was the first European to see the Hohokam complex in November 1694 and named it Casa Grande.
- Picacho Peak State Park - This stop offers a great opportunity for photos and to admire the impressive peak located in the desert between Phoenix and Tucson. It was the site of the westernmost battle of the Civil War, known as the Battle of Picacho Pass.
- Mission San Xavier del Bac - Known for its rich history and stunning architecture, this renowned church is a must-visit. Located just south of Tucson, visitors can spend a brief time inside due to current restrictions. The Mission was established to meet the needs of the local community, the village of Wa:k (San Xavier District) on the Tohono O’odham reservation, and continues to do so today. A small gift shop is also available here.
- Tumacacori National Historical Park - Dating back to the 1700s, this Mission offers a peaceful experience as you explore the grounds and the interior of the walls. Originally protected as Tumacácori National Monument in 1908 by President Teddy Roosevelt, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1966. Visitors can enjoy walking the grounds and exploring the mission’s interior.

Great tour and guide! - Todd was a fantastic tour guide! We met at a location that was convenient for us which helped. The sites were beautiful and Todd did a great job giving us the history and details of each stop. He also suggested other places we should see while in the area. He was very patient while we visited the sites and never felt rushed. You can tell he really enjoys the history of Arizona and loves to share his knowledge.. highly recommend Todd.

Great tour! - Todd was the best! He met us at a preferred location that was convenient for us to start tour. The sites we visited were beautiful and full of history. Todd shared his knowledge with us and also other facts and history of the area.. he also recommended other areas of interest and historical sites to visit. We did not feel rushed and took in the sites at our leisure. I would highly recommend Todd at Historic Arizona Tours! A+

Travel with HAT /Todd. Wonderful experience. - Our tour guide Todd was wonderful. He explained so much of the history of Southern Arizona. He took us to beautiful historical places. He was kind knowledgeable and a very safe driver.

Outstanding - Todd, was an outstanding guide that when we are in AZ we are going to hire
again. I have already spoken to friends to hire him when they are in AZ. His knowledge of various subjects was wonderful. Todd's patience and being very nice made for a perfect day.

Wonderful Tombstone Visit with Historic Arizona Tours - My wife and I took the tour to Tombstone with Historic Arizona Tours and loved it! Our host Todd was extremely pleasant, a great driver, and extremely knowledgeable on Arizona History. We were able to see the important sites at Tombstone, Todd was able to provide additional background information on the sites and the history of the events that took place in Tombstone. He recommended which sites to visit and which ones to avoid.
We had a wonderful time and are already planning on taking additional tours through Historic Arizona Tours when we visit Phoenix again. We want to take some of the tours they offer in the Flagstaff area.
