Americans in Rio - Great tour, Lucas spoke good English and gave us good information. Christ redeemer beautiful, alot of steps, but also had escalator up and down. Dropped us off at Copacabana Beach too. Gondola ride beautiful, Lucas really took care of us.

Useful transportation and not much more - The “tour” is really mostly transportation to the sites, which was great for our group as we didn’t really want to listen to hours of information, but rather visit Sugarloaf and Christ the Redeemer efficiently without having to worry about transportation. We were disappointed that we could not be picked up at our hotel in Leblon, since the tour description says it picks up from most hotels in Leblon. We had to walk maybe 20-30 minutes to another hotel for pickup. Tour guide gave us plenty of independent time to take photos and enjoy the sites, which was appreciated.

Great Tour...Need full day to see both - We booked this tour outside of our cruise. We had a great time at Christ the Redeemer but didn't have enough time to go to Sugarloaf Mountain and make it back to the cruise port in time. The Rio traffic was heavy. The tour guide and van was great. However, disappointed that we didn't get to see Sugarloaf. Needed 6 to 8 hours.

Very good tour! - This was a very good tour. Marlady, our tour guides English was very good. She did a great job keeping us on schedule. She was very attentive and took good care of our group.

Before choosing this tour, I suggest you read my review... - There were 12 of us, and they forgot 4 up on the sugar loaf. They did not indicate a meeting time or place and left without us, without warning us, even though they had my phone (they did not realize that they were missing 4 people, of 12 that we were in total....)
Bad weather management. We were supposed to arrive at 14:00 and, not because of traffic but because of bad weather management, we arrived at the hotel at 17:00. Before we arrived at Christ we told them that if we delayed any longer we would lose a transfer to Buzios that we had scheduled for 15:30, and they disengaged.
Recommendation for any excursion: ask for the contact of the guide. We were saved by having the contact of the motorist who had called us in the morning to inform the arrival time. This one took us to the 5th call we made, and so we managed to get him to come back to us.
