• Istedgade - As the main street of the Vesterbro area, Istedgade showcases a rich diversity. Amidst adult entertainment venues, you’ll find some of the city’s finest boutiques, restaurants, and bars.

For many years, Istedgade was synonymous with drugs, adult entertainment, and prostitution. However, the street has undergone a transformation, particularly at the end opposite Copenhagen Central Station, while still retaining some of its original charm.

• Skydebanehaven - Discover the history of Skydebanehaven, a place with a storied past.

Today, it serves as a staffed playground.

Skydebanehaven is one of Copenhagen’s staffed playgrounds. While the staff do not supervise the children, they organize activities such as sports tournaments and treasure hunts.

• Sønder Boulevard - Since its complete renovation in 2007, Sønder Boulevard has become a beloved green space in Vesterbro, frequented by people of all ages for relaxation and socializing.

Sønder Boulevard boasts numerous excellent shops and eateries and is a popular route for dog walking.

The boulevard features urban soccer fields, basketball courts, and ping pong tables, designed for public use and serving as a communal yard for residents of nearby apartments.

Sønder Boulevard is synonymous with Absalon, Vesterbro’s extended living room and a great place to engage with locals.

• Meatpacking District, Copenhagen - Once the hub of Copenhagen’s meat industry, “Kødbyen” has transformed into a vibrant and creative area with galleries, nightlife, and restaurants.

The Meatpacking District is divided into two sections: The Brown and The White, dating back to 1878 and 1934, respectively, and is part of Copenhagen’s Vesterbro neighborhood.

This formerly industrial and gritty area has become trendy and popular due to its central location and diverse cultural offerings, including a lively nightlife. Today, a few food companies still operate in the area, where the original industrial atmosphere coexists with partygoers and local hangouts.
