- The Genetically Modified Little Mermaid - This is the first of two mermaids you’ll see on our tour. It’s a hidden gem in Copenhagen, located right by our training ground.
- The Little Mermaid - The famous Little Mermaid is one of the first major sights on our tour; you’ll see it within 5 minutes of starting. We consider her our friendly (and quite popular) neighbor! There will be a photo stop so you can capture your visit.
- Langelinie Park - One of the green spaces in Copenhagen we’ll pass through, and you’ll learn why there are so many gardens and small parks around the city.
- Seaside Toldboden - Toldboden is the old customs area in Copenhagen, rich with maritime history in its surroundings. We’ll cruise through this area, which includes The Royal Pavilions, the shipping giant MAERSK headquarters, and more!
- Holmen - As we cruise along the waterfront towards Nyhavn, you’ll become familiar with Holmen on the opposite side of the water. Your guide will share interesting stories about the various warships docked there. Please note that while you’ll see these monuments, we won’t cross the water as it’s part of the Maritime Museum.
- Peace Statue Angel of Langelinie - The beautiful angel is said to guard all who pass through the harbor, including us!
- Amaliehaven - The Amalie Garden is a lovely small garden right outside the Queen’s Palace.
- Copenhagen Opera House - The Royal Opera House in Copenhagen is an architectural marvel; we’ll stop for photos at Ofelia Square, where you can get a picture with the Opera House in the background (please note we won’t cross the water to access the Opera House).
- Ofelia Plads - Ofelia Square is a popular summer hangout for locals. If there’s space, your guide will show you where to test your Segway skills and speed. We’ll also stop for photos here so you can capture a beautiful picture with the Opera House in the background.
- The Royal Cast Collection - The Royal Danish Cast Museum features two unique sculptures worth mentioning.
- Nyhavn - We’ve reached the colorful Nyhavn; enjoy your guide’s stories about this famous area in Copenhagen, and of course, take a picture as we cruise through the streets. You’ll also see where famous residents lived/live.
- Copenhagen King’s Square - Kongens Nytorv (King’s New Square) is a central part of Copenhagen and marks the halfway point of our 1-hour route.
- Royal Danish Theatre Play House - The Royal Danish Playhouse is a relatively new building in Copenhagen, designed to be eco-friendly and functional.
- Bredgade Kunsthandel - Bredgade is one of the best streets in Copenhagen for exploring Danish galleries and interior design.
- Amalienborg Museum - Amalienborg Palace is central to Copenhagen’s history. We’ll cruise right up to the square in front of Her Majesty’s residence and wave to the Queen (if she’s home!). You’ll also see the Queen’s lifeguards and have the opportunity to take pictures.
- Designmuseum Denmark - We’ll pass by the Design Museum, where you can see many prominent exhibitions from designers like Arne Jacobsen and Kaare Klint.
- Gefionspringvandet - The Gefion bridge and fountain offer a beautiful scene, especially when the fountain is on.
- St. Alban’s Church - The English Church in Copenhagen is a charming little landmark we’ll pass by.
- Kastellet - The Citadel (Kastellet) is a unique military site we’ll cruise through. It’s a perfect spot for a Segway selfie while you hear the history of the landmark dating back to the 1600s.
- Trekroner Fort - The Three Crown Fort is a man-made island designed to protect Copenhagen from sea-based threats.
- Frederiks Kirke (Marmorkirken) - Frederik’s Church (also known as The Marble Church) is a stunning part of Copenhagen’s architectural landscape.
- Segway Cruise Copenhagen - Check-out. Upon returning from your tour, you’ll hand in your radio, helmet, and Segway. You’re welcome to enjoy a complimentary organic beverage and relax with our waterfront view. Your guide will also have a fun Segway souvenir for you!
