From Kronborg to Louisiana, and back to be Viking - Our 9-hour sojourn on July 16 visiting Kronborg Castle, Louisanna Museum and Viking Ship Meseum was such a rich and fulfilling experience seeing these gems of Denmark, yet almost effortless through the fantastic arrangement of Edgar, our tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable, and most importantly, his amazing story-telling skills had brought life to the history and joy to his audience. We are also thankful to Jose, our driver for taking care of us on the road and being always impeccably on time to meet us after we finished a spot so we wasted no time to head to the next destination. A long day for us starting at 9am and finishing at 6pm, but an eye-opening and enjoyable experience to see 3 very different attractions of Denmark.

All great! Fantastic experience - All great! The very complete visit and our guide a 10. He not only told us things about the castle we were going to visit but also explained things about the culture of the Danes, society and experiences, which got us completely into the city of Copenhagen. The castle beautiful and is a very good way to understand history.

Windy visit but well worth a visit- Alas poor Oric ! - Unfortunately the weather was most foul and disturbed when we visited this castle - that even Hamlet would have been perplexed! An experience that is well worth going to regardless of the weather! The guides are exceptionally good. Make sure you do a tour to get the full experience of this historic castle. Not sure why Shakespeare chose this castle as a setting for his masterpiece- Hamlet other than he wanted to ingratiate himself with the royals of Denmark and England of the time. An interesting and superb place to visit.

Kronborg (Hamlet) and Fredericksborg Castles - Visited Kronborg and Fredericksborg castles in Denmark near the Helsignor ferry crossing across from Sweden, north of Copenhagen. Our tour did not include entrance into either, but you can do that for the typical fees. Kronborg is the site associated with the Shakespeare play, Hamlet, guarding the straits between the two kingdoms; nearby Fredericksborg is another royal abode with extensive formal gardens as well as tours inside available. If castles are you thing, certainly worth the visit.

Great variety to see - Great castle with loads of different things to see although we passed on the 145 steps to the tower. The resident pair of seagulls made us laugh and the kids tring out stilts were fun to watch. Well worth a visit.
