Juan Carlos (JC), Rasta1,... - Juan Carlos (JC), Rasta1, Allan were fabulous. We were a large grouo and they were very accommodating. The hike and seeing the animals was the best part. Would 100% recommend the tour. Also, when you get to the hot springs you HAVE to do the slide.

A fun day trip through the rainforest - This was an all day excursion for us, which was very fun, and informative from our excellent guide. Be prepared for wet weather, and if you have lunch as part of trip...it is delicious, but a bit later. So bring a snack for yourself or kids. The flora and fauna are spectacular, and the Arenal Volcano area is very interesting to learn about

A great way to get a few... - A great way to get a few experiences in on a single day. Our guide, whose name I can’t quite recall (something like Neno) was fun, enthusiastic, and informative. Him stopping the van to run up and give us a view of the “mountain pork” was such an unforgettable moment at the end of the tour. The hanging bridges were very secure and not too arduous for the majority of it, but the volcano hike is definitely for folks with some stamina and steady on their feet (don’t have to be experienced hikers though, we weren’t). The lunch was simple fare but delicious. And the hot springs at the end were nothing fancy but a very relaxing way to end the day, and they did have towel and locker rentals for a reasonable price if needed.

My guide Rasta was... - My guide Rasta was amazing! You could tell he was so passionate and had so much knowledge about the forest, the animals in it and the volcano. He was patient and showed us the things all around us and really got us to think about things from a different perspective. He was just a kind hearted person who made this already interesting tour on it’s own that much more fun! The driver was also great and appreciated him bringing me back to my hotel even when it was a little farther than planned. Would highly recommend this.

Fun for all - We had a great time. The volcano hike was a little more strenuous than I expected. They really work hard to be sure that you learn about the area, got great pictures and saw plenty of wild life. The tour was well organized. A value for what we got. We had 20 people on our bus. All the activities were groups of 10. Our tour guides and driver were very professional and attentive.

We had a full fun day,... - We had a full fun day, mistico hanging bridges , Arenal volcano and hot stings . We were picked up in an air conditioned bus, guide was excellent, spoke perfect English and was very informative. It’s was interesting for both adults and kids. We were able to see many different animals-including monkeys/birds/ anteater . Without the guide we would never spot them The only negative is at the end of the tour -they take you to hotsprings that are on a budget side . It was overcrowded, so the last part -we left and drove to another recommended hot springs on our own. Everything else was good ( including lunch)

Hanging Bridges is worth a visit with a guide! - Brian was a great guide! You MUST have a guide for the Hanging Bridges tour, it's VERY hard to spot most of the creatures without one (many camouflage; have no ideas how they spot the ones with the naked eye). Very crowded during the holiday season so it a bit more time to wait for groups to cross the bridges, etc. The Arenal volcano hike went by pretty quickly (1 hour), there's some steep incline but not challenging (I saw women in their 70s and 80s climbing up which was inspiring). In between the two tours, they served us pineapple (soooo sweet in CR) which was a nice treat.

A Must-Do Experience in Costa Rica - Loved this experience! Juan Carlos and Diego were fantastic—knowledgeable, kind, and clearly proud of their country. We learned about the region’s history and biodiversity, met the Maleku tribe, wandered through the rainforest, and tasted delicious local dishes. A truly memorable tour. Highly recommend!
