The journey kicks off at the private farm La Naciente, located just a short distance from downtown La Fortuna. Participants will embark on muddy trails through the primary rainforest, experiencing Costa Rican culture while taking in stunning views of the magnificent Arenal Volcano.

The adventure begins with a safety briefing and a practice circuit to ensure everyone is comfortable with the ATVs. Following this, the group ventures onto the thrilling trails of La Naciente, navigating challenging paths surrounded by lush vegetation and local wildlife. A stop is made at Quebrada Platanillo, a micro-basin of the Arenal River that provides water to nearby communities, and where the remarkable Watusi bulls, known for their unique horns, can be observed.

The next stop is the charming village of La Guaria, which preserves the “fortuneños” culture. Here, participants explore the village’s church and its traditional local store (pulpería), offering insight into life in rural communities.
