• Poas Volcano National Park - Our journey begins on the Pan-American Highway heading towards Alajuela. Along the way, we’ll pass by the Agriculture Monument, the Monument to Juan Santamaria, and the popular Mango Park.

Next, we’ll arrive at Poas Volcano National Park, where we’ll have 20 minutes to marvel at the impressive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, as per the National Volcanic Security Bureau.

• San Pedro de Poas - After visiting the volcano, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at Doka Coffee Plantation. We’ll then continue our journey through fern, flower, and strawberry farms, taking in the beautiful scenery.

As we descend from Poas Volcano, we’ll stop to learn about Costa Rica’s unique and flavorful coffee, often referred to as the golden bean. We’ll visit a coffee plantation to learn the traditional techniques used by experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica and the world. We’ll explore the careful process of cultivating, harvesting, and roasting the golden bean, and finally, we’ll savor the exquisite product.

• Grecia - Our third stop is the town of Grecia, known as one of the cleanest towns in Latin America.
