- Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve - Discover the world-renowned Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Reserve, one of Costa Rica’s most biodiverse ecosystems, located along the Sierra de Tilarán between Puntarenas and Alajuela. During this guided nature walk, participants will explore lush cloud forest trails surrounded by towering trees adorned with moss, orchids, bromeliads, and other unique epiphytes typical of this misty ecosystem.
Accompanied by an experienced local naturalist guide, guests will search for wildlife hidden in the forest canopy and understory. The reserve is home to an incredible variety of species, including hummingbirds, toucans, the iconic Resplendent Quetzal, frogs, butterflies, insects, and native plants.

On this 2.5-hour guided nature walk, a local naturalist guide will assist in uncovering wildlife and unveiling the hidden wonders of the cloud forest. As participants traverse the trails, they may encounter vibrant birds, insects, frogs, and distinctive plants that contribute to the uniqueness of this ecosystem.
