Amazing Day at Rio Celeste & Sloth Sanctuary – Ask for Sergio! - Our tour of Rio Celeste waterfall and the Sloth Sanctuary was absolutely incredible! The scenery alone was breathtaking — the turquoise blue water of the waterfall looks even more magical in person — but what truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Sergio. Sergio was beyond knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about Costa Rica, the rainforest, flora and fauna and the wildlife. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares deeply about the environment and conservation. At the sloth sanctuary we had another tour guide lead us through the jungle and Jean Carlo spotted animals we never would have noticed on our own — from tiny frogs and birds to sleepy sloths tucked high in the trees. He took the time to explain everything with enthusiasm. After the jungle walk we had a delicious Casado lunch and had the company of the family pups Mya and Ginger in the little cafe on the property. The whole day felt effortless, well-organized, and full of those “wow” moments you’ll never forget. If you’re visiting Costa Rica, this tour is an absolute must — and if you can, ask for Sergio and Jean Carlo, they will make your adventure both fun and unforgettable! A huge thank you to Dixon, the tour operator, for organizing everything so smoothly and making sure every detail was taken care of. The day ran perfectly from start to finish.

Fun, adventurous experience, sprinkled with facts and knowledge. - I think the most memorable part of our trip was our guide Dixon, very knowledgeable about plant life and animals took the time to explain every part of our journey, and was extremely friendly and helpful. It took three hours to arrive at our destination and Dixon made our trip feel like a fun ride with a family friend just a great overall experience. 10 out of 10 would do it again.
