Embark on a delightful 2-hour river safari, cruising comfortably along the Sarapiqui River, where you can marvel at the abundant wildlife of the area. It’s a prime spot to observe Howler Monkeys, White-Faced Capuchin Monkeys, Sloths, Toucans, Crocodiles, giant Iguanas, River Turtles, Otters, and a variety of aquatic birds, among others.

Following the boat safari, a brief drive will lead you to La Tirimbina Biological Reserve. Only 10% of Tirimbina is open for tourism and educational purposes, while the remainder is preserved for research and conservation. The public area features easily accessible trails that allow visitors to explore the diverse microenvironments of the rainforest. Access to the forest is via a 264-meter-long suspension bridge spanning the Sarapiquí River. Additionally, a second suspension bridge is available for public use, offering a different perspective of the forest trails.
