Explore the island’s historic standing stones, the Napoleonic Tower, Dún an Óir Castle, a 12th-century church, and visit the memorial dedicated to the 1979 Fastnet Yacht Race Disaster. From one of the walking trails, catch a view of the Fastnet Rock Lighthouse in the distance, or savor a meal at one of the island’s charming bars and restaurants.
After lunch, board the ferry again to get a closer look at the lighthouse. Along the way, enjoy sightings of the majestic whales and dolphins! The journey includes a circumnavigation of ‘An Carraig Aonair’ or the ‘Lonely Rock,’ offering insights into its history and culture.
