Trip of a lifetime - We took a tour with Michael. Michael was the best and not like the other shallow drivers. I've never seen someone power walk up a 15 degree incline as fast as Michael did at the Rock of Cashel. Stealthy fit. Michael had all the jokes, a few funny. The trip itself was nice too. We hope he appreciates our contribution to his positive review competition with the other drivers (the shallow ones). Our only regret is we didn't get a picture with Michael, he was walking too fast.

Highly recommended - This was a long but great day. All the stops were worth while. We got a little extra time at Blarney and less time at Cork and I think this was a good decision. I would recommend this tour if you like castles and ruins. The tour guide was also the bus driver and he had lots of information and a good sense of humour. All the stops were self guided when you got there - which I like.

Exceptional tour, makes me want to go back and do it again. - Sean was a fantastic host and driver. His historical knowledge and commentary were illuminating and fun to listen to, and he was very keen on ensuring that we had enough time at each stop. Can't say enough great things about him. The tour itself was excellent, and we had ample time for photo shoots and bathroom breaks along the way. While Blarney Castle and kissing the Blarney Stone were highlights for many, and it was indeed something to cross off the bucket list, my two highlights were Cork and the Blarney Woollen Mills. The Blarney Woollen Mills is a must-see if you like real wool items, and they ship sans VAT to the US for free. The staff are highly knowledgeable and friendly. I had fun exploring Cork. O’Flynn’s Gourmet Sausages as a place to get solid food and The Chocolate Factory tucked into the English Market were key wins in my book. Whew! Great day and easily one of the best bus tours I've been on.

Eduardo’s day trip to South Ireland was Amazing!! Best guide yet! - We had an absolutely fantastic day with Eduardo as our guide on our southern tour to Cahir Castle, Cork, and Blarney Castle with Paddywagon Tours. Eduardo’s passion for Irish history and culture shone through from the moment we boarded the bus in Dublin. He made sure we were comfortable, entertained, and informed throughout the entire journey. His storytelling was captivating—bringing the legends of Blarney Castle to life and sharing fascinating facts about Cahir and Cork. Eduardo’s sense of humor and easygoing nature made the day fly by, and he always made time to answer our questions and give us great local tips. By the end of the tour, we felt like we had seen so much more than just the castles; we had truly experienced the heart of southern Ireland. Thank you, Eduardo, for an unforgettable adventure!

Surprised at Blarney Castle - We were surprised by the beautiful gardens, statues, and waterfalls surrounding the castle. There’s more to see than just the stone! Be advised—it is a long day with no meal break built in. Be prepared to eat light meals or snacks on the go throughout the day.

Not worth it if you want a knowledgeable tour guide - Took the tour to Cork, Blarney Castle and Rock of Cashel. Overall - I’d find a tour that actually explains the sites and tells some history of the stops. Our driver did none of this. He told us about Belfast rather than Cork or Blarney. Nothing explained at all. The tour departed somewhat on time we had to swing past the actual office to pick up passengers that were late. We stopped one hr outside of Dublin which I felt was unnecessary since it’s only been an hr since we left. Again late leaving as people can’t make it back on time. Drove to Rock of Cashel, we had 35 mins there which was fine to walk around but not take it all in. Felt rushed. Then we headed to Blarney Castle, spending just over 2.5 hrs. This again was ok to walk around however at this point it was 1-3pm and if you needed to eat you had to factor that in. So it wasn’t enough time to see everything on the grounds. After a short drive to Cork, just an hour here. Definitely not enough to do anything but walk around quickly and take a couple photos. The promised time of 90 mins would have been nice. If you was a tour guide that’s providing you information of the area you’re stopping in, then this is probably not the best tour for you. We are disappointed as it was a full 12 hr day.

Sights were great but bring noise cancelling headphones. - Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this trip, purely because of our tour guide, Frank. My family and I felt trapped on a bus for several hours whilst being subjected the ranting opinionated and utterly nonsensical tour guide, Frank. I was incredibly thankful I packed my noise cancelling headphones and could nearly down him out , however my mother wasn’t as fortunate. We would have enjoyed the trip if Frank were providing relevant information about the sights were were travelling to see. However, instead we were provided with his views and opinions of war, politics, poor humour including jokes about a previous traveller that had called the Police on him after he completed a physical body search on her? We were all incredibly relieved to get off that bus and hope to never have to be subjected to another bus trip with Frank again. Aside from that, Blarney Castle and the Rock of Cashel were amazing to see. Cork was a bit disappointing only because Frank sent around a menu for us to order food from and he sent it through stating that it would all be ready when we arrive and that way we would have plenty of time to explore the city of Cork. However, we had to re-order when we arrived and by the time we ate we only had 15 min to “explore” the city before getting back on the bus. We were told we would have plenty of time to explore Blarney castle, but by the time we queued up and waited to kiss the Blarney Stone we had to go back to the bus.

We weren't worth paying for this excursion - We really paid for the bus and for the entrance. The driver/guide did not explain the places to visit. The explanations he was giving were about rather random things. The stop at Blarney Castle was spent from 2 hours to 2 1/2 hours and left only one hour instead of 90 minutes to visit Cork. If we had gone by public transport we would have organized ourselves better. It is the fourth organized excursion we have done from Dublin (the others with other companies) and has been the worst

Screaming Baby Tour - It was a packed bus, mostly Americans. I knew it was a mistake when not one but two babies under one year old came on board. They cried and let out ear piercing screams for the whole trip. I left the trip in Cork City and had lunch and went back to Dublin. There should be an age limit, no kids under 6. Others were annoyed by the screaming but I’m sure they stuck it out for 12 hours. At least I got to see Rock of Cashel and had a nice time in Cork.

Maybe see the grounds and skip the steps to the castle. - We were told that this is a tourist trap. It really is —you wait in a long line to go up stairs in a long line to kiss the top of that is it. Nothing else. I,would not go here
