Passionate Introduction to Irish Sports - Georgina was very passionate and gave our group a great introduction to Gaelic Football and Hurling. We were quickly made to feel very welcome. Oisin gave us a fun training session for both sports and we played some matches which was a great laugh. Would highly recommend for groups. We were a group of 8 on a Stag and we had a private session.

Newly obsessed GAA fans - Well, our kids are all now obsessed with hurling and Gaelic football. We are still in Ireland for the All Ireland Hurling game and our kids have Cork jerseys. We’ve literally never even heard of hurling prior to this trip. We found a place to play hurling and Gaelic football back in Dallas when we return and trying to find a place to watch the Gaelic football game when we return (we have Kerry jerseys for the game!). I would rate this a 10 if I could. We even played in rain and no spirits were dampened.

A favourite for our family with adult kids - A couple of years ago, my husband and I were in Dublin and were thoroughly amazed watching Gaelic football and hurling in the pubs. It was nothing like what we knew but at the same tim seemed to combine a lot of skills from other sports. This year we were traveling with our adult kids who love playing football (soccer in Canada), lacrosse, volleyball, dodgeball - well pretty much anything - and this experience seemed a perfect fit. A nice detour from sightseeing. My husband loves sports and wanted to learn more about his Irish roots. As a 60+ with a sedentary job who hadn't played team sports for several decades, and who had more than a few individual sport-related injuries, my personal goal was to not be hugely embarrassed (I was, but sometimes you have to take one for the team). Gaelic games were super interesting to learn about and the skills fun to try, and their importance for community and Irish identity will not be soon forgotten. The leaders were excellent - knowledgeable, kind and patient. The setting was perfect. And no pressure but with an opportunity for competition for those who crave it. The only way I can think of to improve it would be to add a chance to watch an actual game afterwards! Thanks for teaching us about these very special games! With a little practice, I just might try it again!
