Amazing day in the country - We really appreciated getting out of the city and spending the day in the country. We had a gorgeous, sunny day seeing the sheep, cows, horses, beautiful waterfall and walking the lower lake. Flann was THE BEST tour guide! He is funny, informative, patient, knowledgeable, thoughtful, kind and super at driving the narrow, curvy roads. One of the best tours we took during our travels. Highly recommend!

Trip to Glendalough with Steve and Bogdan - We visited Glendalough and Kilkenny yesterday with Steven as a guide and Bogdan as a driver. We may have been blessed with the weather, but we were a school group and we found the trip absolutely amazing. The driver was a smiling, friendly and welcoming person and our guide was a learned man that enchanted our students with his outgoing personality, telling them about the history of the place standing on a stone in the Glendalough site. We really had a great time!

Wonderful tour & tour guide/driver - I highly recommend this tour for the beautiful views, charming small towns, ancient buildings and plenty of outdoor time to enjoy the fresh air. Our tour guide/driver Matthew was especially knowledgeable about the area & told us some fun stories & interesting facts during the drive. A+ for Matthew. Plenty of time for lunch, bathroom breaks & even a snack.

Must-do - Our guide, Matthew, did a wonderful job of guiding us and providing interesting information. I was highly pleased with this tour. The sheep farm was really great; watching farmer Mick interact with his border collies. This is an easy, must-do quick trip from the city.

Magical Day - Our guide Flann was humorous, interesting and a great driver with great recommendations. Farmer Micheal with his sheep dog demo was so fun! Maggie and Sal (the dogs) are so energetic and talented. The show is mesmerizing and the scenic countryside is gorgeous. He has a small shop so don’t leave your money on the van - you’ll definitely need a souvenir. All of our stops unique. The stories were magical Irish history and relevant to understanding this beautiful country. We loved every minute!

Great trip! - We enjoyed our trip & our guide Alec. As we got on the tour bus in the morning they did explain that the sheep guide portion of our trip was cancelled due to season/weather. They did however replace with a good water fall stop & we enjoyed that probably just as much. I wish the experience would have been more explanatory on what to expect. Once we got to Wicklow Mountain National Park we spend two hours independently which was great as there was walking trails, etc, but do be prepared to be outside all day & not have any warm up time indoors. You were able to get lunch there but you did have to sit outside. Do give yourself enough time to order food at the cafe cause it did take about 30 min for our food to come. The bus ride does go down windy & bumpy roads so if you get motion sickness at all this may not be for you.

Did not receive trip we had paid for - We arrived for our scheduled tour time and when our driver was 20 minutes late I called the company only then to be informed that not only had they changed the time for 1 hour later, it also was not the tour we had originally purchased. We asked for a refund of which they refused. The replacement tour that we were given was cheaper than our original tour so they would only give us back the cost difference. We had a group of 9 and we were disappointed because the reason we had purchased our original tour was the part that had been canceled; the aerial walkway views of Avondale. The replacement tour was also said to have included a walking tour with our guide through Hollywood but instead we were pointed to a hillside that a broken “Hollywood” sign lay on the ground. We did enjoy the Glendalough tour/visit but that was to have been part of our original tour. Our group wanted to cancel the “replacement tour” and requested a refund but was denied. We went because we didn’t want to lose all of our money. Just be aware that they can change your time and tour without notice and you still have will be charged.

Excursion did not match itinerary - The experience was not what was in the description. The tour guide (I don’t believe he told his name). He was very hard to understand. The intercom system was not great. He did not explain anything about the excursion. I had to keep asking. Took us to waterfall (spent an hour there) then told us we would be at the glenadough park for 3 hours! No sheep herding demo no farm life. I asked he said oh that’s been cancelled!!! There is a hotel for lunch and a snack bar. The food was horrible at the hotel. There was a food cart as you enter the park but we did not know that. Would have been better to eat at the cart than at the hotel. After 3 hours at the park he drove us to Hollywood. Yes this was in the description but by then it was after 4:00 and the cafe was closed. There was a tiny gift shop. We had about 20 min to spend there. There was nothing to do there. Began our drive back at 4:30. Returned back to Dublin at 5:30. The description stated 4:30 approximately. The beauty of the waterfall and park was great but was very disappointed in the excursion. At the very least we should have been informed that the sheep herding demo was cancelled prior to leaving for the trip. we were 2 hours into the trip and I had to ask what was going on! Not good! He gave us no updated itinerary.
