Great fun at the Guinness Storefront - I had a very enjoyable time at the Guinness Storehouse. I’d taken a red eye from New York and was determined to power through the day, getting started with this experience and it did not disappoint. As everyone else says, you don’t actually get to see the stuff brewed, but you learn a great deal about the history of Guinness, its impact on the community and city, the marketing, the proper way to drink it, etc. I took my time reading and watching everything I could, so I spent a little over two hours at the Experience. It did have moments of feeling quite crowded, but the crowds felt like they came in waves, so it really didn’t feel overwhelming. The Gravity Bar was a cool way to end the experience and get a view of the city. The gift shop had soooo many neat things I wish I’d had more space to bring back gifts for friends and family. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, too. Enjoy a meal at the 1837—it was very tasty!

GREAT tour and visit experience! - GREAT tour and visit experience! Easy to book online - and we appreciated the Senior Adult admission discount. There is SO much to see, read about, and experience - and all 7 floors of the building are beautifully designed and lighted. This was one of the highlights of our 35 day European trip!

Disappointing - Disappointing, & crowded.
Visited many years ago when the experience was more authentic. Now it is mainly a selling opportunity for the Brewery. The sparse information dumbed down .No staff knew anything- the women doing the “how to drinking a Guinness “were just reading from scripts and knew virtually nothing when questioned .
The only worthwhile bit was the bar on the top floor with good views and pleasant staff, but even here you need to be early in the day to get a table.
Instead visit one of the many authentic old pubs in the city.

Expensive for not much for my taste - If you are expecting a great thing you will be disappointed because the presentations to my taste are not terrible by contrast the panoramic view is very friendly in addition with the ticket which is very expensive we offer you a beer.

Nice but not impressed! - It was nice but it wasn’t a tour it was more of a museum. It was cool the water fall thing, but other than that just not impressed. And do not eat at the restaurants they were horrible!

A little disappointed... - We expected to visit a brewery... but in fact we ended up in a kind of Disneyland on the theme of Guinness making.
The staging is not miserly with sets and special effects. On the other hand, the informative side is present but limited... pity... and industrial perception absent.
In any case, at 30 Euros entry is obviously an excellent business for Guinness!

Would be a cool experience if there weren't so many people booked at the same time. - MEH. This was kind of disappointing. They just jam as many people as possible into this warehouse. Once you get through each floor and learn about the way they brew Guinness you make your way up to the rooftop lounge to have a pint. Sounds like a great experience but the room was so packed you could barely walk around. There is not nearly enough seating for the amount of people they jam up there. The view in the rooftop lounge is spectacular though so that was a big plus. This tour is not cheap, and although I learned a bit about the brewing process, the large crowds in each room made me skip most of it so its not something I would recommend unless you can go on a day where they are not very busy.

Overcrowded, underwhelming and sadly, not worth it. - Most likely I am in the minority, but this experience was our least favourite in Dublin. Overcrowded, underwhelming - to put it mildly. We pre-bought our tickets but still waited in a long line up outside before being herded into the main floor, shoulder to shoulder with everyone else. Someone with a microphone mumbled instructions to the crowd (of mostly young 20-somethings) and then everyone moved en masse through the exhibit. If you're into taking hundreds of selfies or a mini insta photo shoot, this is the place to be, but not for me. I don't think many people were all that interested in learning about Guinness or the Guinness family - but they were interested in getting their free pour. The bars were PACKED and there was no space to sit down and enjoy. The exhibit itself is beautiful but it was near impossible to really appreciate the experience or the product.

Overcrowded and Underwhelming - I was looking forward to this tour but can easily say this is a skippable Dublin experience. There were just far too many people allowed in at a time. As the tour is "self guided" (and might I say, confusing to find your way around and through at many points) I was expecting it to be a bit crowded. I was very overwhelmed by the amount of people being pushed through. Could rarely stop and take in the sights and small amount of information on the walls due to other tourists pushing past for pictures of a waterfall. Had a few interactions with some staff and none of them were good. Staff was a bit rude when we asked for directions and seemed like they were annoyed. Thought we could add on the stoutie experience as it was advertised to us throughout the tour as being available to add on. However, after waiting in a line we were told that we should have pre booked and that they were "sold out" for the day (We had the 10am tour that day). I mistakenly expected the place to be full of retired equipment and was looking forward to seeing some history videos. (There is some equipment on one level, although it is pushed to the back of the room, dimly lit.) The coopers area was nice, with various tools and insights, although the area was very small and cramped. I was hoping for more spots like the coopers area, I suppose. The tasting was very rushed with far too many people squished together, attempting to smell the flavors in the white room. I was one of the last to grab my tasting sample and enter into the tasting room and the bartender who poured the tasters was rude and motioned for me to go to the next room and randomly repeated to me that I can't sample the drink at the bar, which I was very aware of. (I had just wanted to avoid being ran over by others in the room.) I do feel like it was simply a push to the top for the gravity bar, which did have some views but absolutely not enough seats or bartenders. We waited for quite some time for our beer at the top and had to keep rotating around the bar after being skipped by the bartenders many times. After searching for a spot to sit and not finding anything, we downed our drinks quickly and made for the exit. All in all, the experience felt designed to either exhaust you to make you want to take a break at one of their many restaurants or shops or just push to the top for a mid pint. (Had far superior pints of guinness at every pub we stopped at in Dublin.) I didn't realize I would be so over stimulated; so I advise if you don't enjoy being shoved around to skip this experience. I don't normally write reviews such as this but want to let others know who might be expecting something more.

Dreadful Experience - Dear Sir or Madam,
Myself and a colleague visited the Guinness storehouse on 9th May 2025.
We were met by huge queues waiting to enter and were told by the door staff the venue was very busy. When we entered and started the self guided tour we were forced to abandon it due to the volume of people crowding every exhibit. There were large queues at inadequate toilets and a wasted 57 euros expense. Everywhere we went there were massive lines waiting. We headed for the Grabity area thinking it would quieten down only to find large lines at the bar and inadequate seats.
As you see from my ticket I am a pensioner. Experience was dreadful and we left soon after arriving. Very very poor crowd management.
