Beautiful scenery an excellent day! - Wonderful! Derrick our driver and guide was great. He gave us the history of the areas we visited. The Horseback riding is well planned with a guide in front and in the rear of the group. Great instruction and beautiful ride. Wicklow park is stunning from the Boggs, Guinness lake, upper and lower lakes. I would highly recommend!

Great day! - Ben was amazing! Funny, patient, and as a resident of the area and former park ranger he has so much knowledge about the geology, ecology, and history of the area! He even filled us in on some recent/current events…very interesting. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring bottled water. The ride wasn’t the smoothest I’ve been on, so bring motion sickness medicine if you think you might need it. A couple of thrilling moments on the narrow, winding road when we met other buses, but Ben is an expert driver and very safe. We chose the horseback riding option and had so much fun!

Beautiful trip - I booked this trip solo as a memorial journey for a loved one that passed a long time ago. While none of the staff involved knew of the purpose of my trip, I was treated with respect and kindness the whole way. Linda, the driver, was extremely kind and helpful and an excellent guide. I had a very positive and beautiful experience, even as a more quiet solo trekker. The horseback experience was amazing, and the main focal point of my whole journey. The horses were well behaved and docile. This was the perfect time of year to go, as the weather was amazing and the trail was covered with yellow flowers. Thanks to Hilltoptreks and Killegar Stables. Much appreciated for the wonderful experience.

10/10 Experience - This trip was awesome! We started by busing straight to the stables and went horseback riding! The tour guides were awesome, and the horses knew what to do. We got lunch in Glendalough and explored the little shops for a break. It was super cute. The views were amazing too! Our guide had lots to say! It was a great trip.

Highly recommend this tour! Well worth the price! - We can highly recommend Hilltop Trekkers for an outing outside Dublin. It was great to see the countryside including mountains, streams and the Irish Sea in the distance from our horseback ride with Killegar Stables. The staff at the stables were amazing. We loved seeing more of Ireland. The booking process was easy and also the pick up arrangements were seamless. The lovely lunch at Poppie’s in Enniskerry was delicious. Our driver Kevin was very nice.

Great experience - We had a fantastic time on the Dublin to Wicklow and Glendalough small group tour with Hilltoptreks. The horseback riding was a beautiful and unique way to experience the Wicklow countryside. Our guide and driver, Duncan, was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day run smoothly. Everything was well-organized and relaxed. A perfect day trip out of Dublin—highly recommend!
