• Kilkenny Castle - Arriving in Kilkenny at 09:00, visitors will find themselves in the charming Marble City, located along the River Nore. This picturesque small Irish city is renowned for its buildings made of black limestone, earning it the nickname Marble City.

Kilkenny is prominently marked by its castle, with the front gate serving as the meeting point (or as instructed by the host).

There are several delightful pubs offering food: ‘Paris Texas’ on High Street and ‘Langton’s’ on John Street Lower both provide a pleasant atmosphere and excellent cuisine. Further along High Street is the Church of Ireland Cathedral of St Canice. This stunning cathedral, dating back to the 13th century, became Anglican after the Reformation in 1539. It is highly recommended to visit for photographs, even if it is closed.

• House Of Waterford Crystal - The tour proceeds from Kilkenny to Waterford, a historic Viking city on the River Suir (pronounced “shure”). The itinerary includes a visit to the new Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre, where guests can observe artisans performing the traditional crafts of blowing and cutting the renowned crystal glass.

• WHEELCHAIR POLICY: Our tours are a combination of train and luxury coach and include a moderate level of physical activity, such as short walks to meeting points etc. Unfortunately even the most modern luxury coaches (buses) are not wheelchair friendly, thus our tours are not suitable for those with mobility issues, and regretfully walkers, wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot be accommodated on our tours.
• Children U16 cannot book independently. They must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
