Fun day trip to sheepdog trails - The trip was great despite bad weather. Paul our guide was knowledgeable and made people feel comfortable. In Kilkenny, he gave us walking tour of the historical places in the city (about 40min) and after we had 1h to explore the city by ourselves, taste local food and do some shopping. Sweaters and Irish crafts in Kilkenny were a bit cheaper than in gift stores in Dublin. Next we stopped to take some photos in the mountains and go on a meditative trail though the moss covered forest to the lake in spectacular Glendalough valley. Our last stop was the sheep farm. The newly born sheep were adorable and the herding of sheep by Collie named Rob was very impressive. We learnt about the farming cycles and training the dogs on sheep farms. Dublin is busy with tourists so getting away for a day in a beautiful countryside was worth it. Our guide Paul gave us good suggestions not only about Kilkenny Wicklow and Glendalough but also about good pubs and events in Dublin. Couple days later (thanks to his suggestions )we went to the Arthur's in Dublin - the pub with a fireplace, that serves great meals, and has live jazz bands at 9pm. We had a great time there as well.

Sheep dog training on sheep farm and Kilkenny. - Excellent experience! Ian was a knowledgeable and (so) funny guide. Both my tours with Wild Rover this week have been exceptional.

You won’t regret this - Colin - the driver - showcased his masterful driving skills. Somehow maneuvering the bus into tight alleys when being redirected due to a crash. Ian was an amazing storyteller, had plenty of humor trickled in. He was not monotone at all and kept all of our attention. They provided plenty of time to wander around the sites and sound of these locations. They epitomize all the great things about the Irish people. Friendly, witty, and welcoming!

Amazing tour - All the people were very nice, and I learned so many interesting things about Ireland history. The best part was holding baby lambs for sure, an amazing experience. I also loved Kilkenny a little extra would have been nice. Also loved the guide.

Excellent! - The tour guide Paul was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He explained a lot of the history and gave us lots of good tips for good places to eat and bars in Dublin also. Paul provided us maps of each of the places we were visiting. Marco, the bus driver was excellent also, we felt very safe on the roads and he made sure we were all comfortable. The sheep dog demonstration was excellent and holding the baby lamb, ended the trip just perfectly. This was a great tour, would strongly recommend the Wild River tours.

Highly recommend! - Our family of 10 loved this tour! Ian and Krishna were amazing and went out of their way to be sure everyone had a great time. Grammy was tired at the end of the tour so they brought the lamb to her!

It's not just Dublin. - 57 years and some physical difficulties, but the tour is x all. Kilkenny is worth the trip alone, castle, colorful village with many services and shops, market center for those who can not do without it🥰 then walk to Glendalough: lake, wooden path and small but interesting visitor center, little time, but we have to run... (Literally, the driver has an incredible eye in these country lanes, but makes the trip serene and comfortable) we have a pastoral appointment"🐑🐑🐕‍🦺 at Mc Cullen farm. Autumn is also coming to the Wicklow Mountains, the sunset accompanies us back to Dublin.. Wonderful experience, would do it again😉 thanks Mick and Ian

Kilkenny by Dublin - I recently joined the Kilkenny, Wicklow Mountains & Glendalough Day Tour from Dublin, and overall I would rate it 2 out of 5 stars. The tour itself is well structured and covers beautiful and historic locations such as Kilkenny, the Wicklow Mountains, and the Glendalough monastic site in a single day with organized transport and guided explanations. The main positive aspect of the experience was the tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and very easy to understand. Her explanations about Irish history, culture, and the places we visited were clear and engaging, and they added real value to the trip. Thanks to her, we were able to better understand the importance of each location. Unfortunately, the driver had a very negative impact on the experience. He was extremely rude, constantly rushed the group, and made it difficult to properly enjoy the stops. At one point, he almost left one of our group members behind by starting to drive away without making sure everyone was back on the bus. He also did not allow enough time even for basic needs like going to the bathroom, which made the day stressful instead of relaxing. The situation became worse when he also insulted my friend, which was completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. In addition, he talked excessively on the bus, not allowing passengers to rest during what is already a long day of travel. In summary, the guide helped save part of the experience thanks to her professionalism and knowledge, but the driver’s behavior significantly lowered the overall quality of the tour.
