Phenomenal experience, instructors, and staff! - What a great experience! We broke our group into 2 sessions because we are traveling with a 2 year old. Our ladies went first, and the men went second. Both groups thoroughly enjoyed the great instructors, facilities, and the hands on experience. We were treated to very caring instructors, who made each of us feel special. They guided us through the process with patience, care and also gave us the why of each step in the process. It was the highlight of our family experience in Ireland!

Silver Works-You've struck gold! - This was such a great activity to do with our family. It was a nice change of pace from tours and museums. The girls who worked with us were such wonderful and patient teachers. I would definitely recommend this activity for a fun few hours and a souvenir that you've made yourself. And there’s free chocolate! What more could you want?!

Great experience with a special take away. - The instructor was very helpful and offered guidance as needed. Class size is perfect and everyone has own tools. We made a unique ring for ourselves and it was a memorial activity.

A Beautiful Surprise: Hammered Silver Ring Class at Dublin Jewellery Forge - While my trip to Ireland was carefully planned, one of the most memorable experiences came from a spontaneous decision—to take a jewelry-making class at Dublin Jewellery Forge on George’s Street. It ended up being an unexpected highlight of my time in Dublin! The class was intimate and welcoming, with a wonderful balance of older children and adults. The instructors were incredibly patient, skilled, and precise. They guided each of us—regardless of age or experience—through the process of crafting our own hammered sterling silver ring from start to finish. Their calm and encouraging approach made the experience relaxing, fun, and deeply rewarding. There was something truly special about leaving not just with a unique, handcrafted piece of jewelry, but also with the memory of having created it myself in such a warm and creative environment. Whether you’re a local or a traveler looking for something hands-on and meaningful, I highly recommend this class. It’s an unforgettable way to take a piece of Dublin home with you—literally.

All that glistens, and all that .. - I had really been looking forward to this workshop. I’d seen the Drury Lane venue and had expected to book there, but the timings didn’t work. I duly booked the Georges Street venue as the timing suited. It’s not an obvious address: a grimy black door with a buzzer. You go up a fairly dilapidated set of stairs to a reception room. I arrived 10 mins early, and the receptionist said to go straight into the workshop room. There were two women in the room. It wasn’t clear if they were participants or facilitators: eventually I asked the question and was told yes, they were facilitators, but that it didn’t start for 10 minutes! With that, they returned to their phones and holiday conversation!! As others arrived they warmed up a little, but frankly, and if I hadn’t been aware of the cancellation charges, I’d have walked out and asked to reschedule at the other location. I’m not expecting much, but hello and welcome might be nice. It’s meant to be a treat, not a trial. The class started late as 5 participants had not arrived. I have to say that the instruction was clear and both practitioners were skilful and helpful with the ring making. The equipment was good. I do have a really nice ring as a result, but I couldn’t wait to get away. And there was no coffee provided and the chocolate mentioned was just supermarket stuff: it would be better not to offer anything at all, in my view. In summary, you will get a nice item made partly by yourself and finished professionally by the facilitators. But don’t expect bonhomie and craic. And go for the other location in a nicer part of Dublin.
