A must do if you’re visiting Cradle Mountain - We were lucky enough to strike a really quiet night (out of tourist season) and basically had a personalised tour of the facility at night. Our tour guide was extremely passionate about the work they’re doing there and shared her insights into the animals housed there and the outlook for their survival. Getting to see the behaviour of the Devils up close at night is amazing. A fantastic experience - well worth braving the cold for.

Highly recommend this at Cradle Mountain - Absolutely well worth doing. Was amazing to get up close and watch the devils and quolls being so active after dark. Watching feeding was an experience ....amazing to see how quickly they can devour their dinner(culled wallaby)....skin and all and crunch the bones too. Our guide was one of the keepers at the sanctuary who clearly loves the animals and she was a font of knowledge. Sorry didn't get her name but she was amazing.

Had an amazing experience... - Had an amazing experience learning more about the Tasmanian Devils and Quolls that were being looked after and the situations they're facing. It was also quite the experience to watch all these marsupials feed in person as well! Do come adequately dressed if you're gonna be visiting in winter as the night tour gets really cold.

Must Do Experience - This was a fabulous experience, to see the devils and the quolls being fed. Our tour guide Sarah was enthusiastic and very informative. An additional unexpected bonus was the invitation to visit again the next day - included in our ticket price. We did this and spent a wonderful half hour visiting the quolls and devils in the daylight. We would highly recommend a visit to see these endangered species

Beauty Of Conservation - This was a wonderful experience that lasts about 2 hours 7pm-9pm. We met with our ranger Rory. ( small group approx 10). He then invited us to go for an information gathering. His knowledge of local wildlife as well as Tasmanian Devils was very impressive. While sharing his knowledge we were each also offered a platter of locally produced nibbles. This consisted of fudge, dried apples, honey shortcake, candid popcorn also a choice of drink White wine, cider, soft drink, apple juice. Really delicious. Now we were fed and loaded with knowledge we were taken out to the enclosures where we saw and watched the feeding of Tasmanian Devils also different species of quolls . The ranger actually held a young Devil so that we could rub it very gently.. He had so much information and he generously shared it with us and answered all our questions. Rory then lit a fire and equipped us with sitcks and marshmallows. It was the perfect way to end a memorable evening. I feel so privileged to have been able to see and experience something that was nearly wiped out. Thank you to All.

See and hear Devils squabble up close - adorable - This tour was fantastic. Our guide was knowledgable and engaging. Her enthusiasm and advice left us 100% confident that the work devils@cradle is doing is resulting in genuine conservation outcomes for these incredible animals (devils and quolls!). So happy to support and recommend!

All Bluff ? - We went to the devil feeding while at Cradle. Short car trip. The place is really good - looking after the Devils and Quolls. Staff excellent. Unfortunately we had someone on our tour that wanted to show off her knowledge and never stopped asking questions she already knew the answer to. Delayed us quite a bit. It is essential we take care of these animals to ensure they remain in sufficient numbers. This place is doing such a great job. They may appear nasty little buggers (the Devils ... ) but it is mainly all show and bluff. My Tip - get there about an hour before your tour and have a good look about - purchase any mementos. Easy parking and toilets.

Good cause to support - Excellent cause to support. Worth arriving early to explore the park (30-45 mins early would probably be ideal). The park is good - plenty of enclosures / animals to see. The tour was good too - lots of detail on the animals!
