Don’t miss out on this - strongly recommended - This is a must-do experience to appreciate Spanish history and be amazed at the sight of a full sized Christian cathedral inside a mosque, many times extended over the centuries. It is being wonderfully restored (2025) so more to see over time. A guided tour is strongly recommended.

Recommended visit - Very prepared guide. He kept explaining everything we were seeing. Comfortable visit. We have made the 9:30 and although it was a cloudy day, I recommend fan for the interior.

Exceptional tour in Cordoba - The tour was very detailed end very informative. It was a group tour. The guide, Sonia, was extremely well prepared, very kind, mixing information with interesting historical anecdotes. Despite being a long tour, never boring nor tiring. It was definitely an exceptional tour.

Crowded mosque - We were on a guided tour of the mosque. It was very very crowded in October and unfortunately took away the ambience of the place. I couldn’t hear what the guide was saying at all so it was completely useless to have to wait in a group. Should have just looked at it ourselves

The guide was under time pressure and left us photographing - Actually a very good, interesting and detailed tour. But unfortunately, the group was so huge that we lost sight of the guide while taking pictures and were only able to track it down in the huge complex with the many visitors at the very end, which was very frustrating. Actually, we wanted to book a private tour, but apparently we should have done so much longer in advance. Too bad!

hard-to-understand English - I loved the beautiful historical sites but unfortunately, our English speaking guide was very hard to understand. I guess I have to read and research to learn more about these magnificent moorish buildings
