The itinerary includes a visit to one of Moldova’s most scenic locations – the Cultural and Natural Reserve “Orheiul Vechi” (Cave Monastery Complex), situated 55 km from Chisinau. Here, visitors can explore the Orthodox cave monastery “St. Maria Dormata,” which has been expanded and modified within the cliffs by monks over the centuries and remains in a functional state. Following the tour, lunch will be served with a folk program at a Moldovan family pension in a nearby village.
