Awesome trip! Great staff! 10/10 - Great experience, the staff were fantastic and knowledgeable. Breakfast was quick and easy but not extravagant, as expected on a boat. Lunch was great with incredible views of Virgin Gorda. I’ve done these types of excursions in other places and this was the most well-run and fun experience yet. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful BVI experience - The company functions like a well oiled machine to give you an excellent experience. The ship is pristine and well maintained, the crew is friendly and efficient and safety is the primary goal. We really enjoyed the whole day from the ride out to BVI with the excellent playlist to the beautiful Baths and rock formations to the incredible snorkeling to round out a wonderful day. I really enjoyed speaking with the crew who even though they were doing their job, you felt like that were invested in your having a great time. If there was one weakness in the entire day… I would say that the included lunch was just ok and we could have used a little more time to linger or have dessert. The lunch isn’t the fault of Cruz Bay but since they set up the pre ordering with the restaurant it would be nice to feel more like a restaurant guest than just having food plopped down in front of you. I would absolutely book more tours with this company since they know have to run a business and give their customers first rate experiences!

Highlight of a week on St John - Took the trip from St John to the Baths, a fabulous day. " Island Time" was spacious and immaculate, crewmembers Dan and Soren were attentive and helpful and the captain was a total pro. We were able to get the the Baths ahead of the crowds and had a wonderful time seeing everything, crew guided us safely and expertly through the rocks . Had lunch and snorkeled Norman Island in the afternoon. Trip was an excellent value and highly recommend it, a magical day on the water and at the Baths.

Best snorkeling with the most fish - Perfect day. Comfortable boat with plenty of shade if you wanted. Cruise to Virgin Gorda took about 1-1/2 hours. Views at the Baths spectacular. Trail uneven in spots. Great pictures. Guide even took some great pics of me and husband. Lunch. Cruised to Norman Island area. Easy to get into the water. Beautiful colored fish. Ladder padded and easy to climb back on boat. Towels to dry off. Afternoon drinks. Non alcoholic pain killer made coconut milk, pineapple juice, orange juice and freshly grated nutmeg over ice. Mmm! Don’t forget passport for customs

Some good stuff, some bad. - This is a good tour, but not the best for these reasons: The boat is very loud compared to a catamaran, but it is comfortable. It is very warm at the bath area, and there’s a lot of trail, steep, rocky, and slippery to maneuver, and, if there are any seniors, it can be difficult. quite the walk down the trail, then, of course, there’s back up! Through the baths and caves, ladders have to be used, so there’s that also. The beaches you go to to swim are gorgeous however, and the lunch is fantastic, really. Snorkel stops proved to be a waste as so much of the reefs are dead, very little to see. Would I do it again, no, as the experience left me rather unsatisfied. However, the crew was wonderful and very helpful. Long expensive trip to somewhere rather ho hum!

Bring a small bag and a towel - things I wish I knew before this trip - Most of this trip is very beautiful and relaxing but there were some aspects of it which I was not prepared for - even though I had read the description, spoke to Cruz bay Watersports on the phone, and read several reviews on this site before booking the trip. From about 10am - 12pm you are off the boat for a hike through the baths, swimming, lunch and shopping. During this time you can’t have a large bag- you can only bring a small bag that won’t hinder your mobility during the hike. I recommend bringing a water resistant draw string bag to pack a light towel, wallet, water bottle, sunscreen and hat. The hike isn’t exactly a nature walk- parts of it are difficult. It’s steep at times both up and down and into very tight places between rocks and has very steep stairways, like ladders. They tell you to hold onto the rope with both hands, which is hard to do if you are carrying your water bottle and other things in your hand because you didn’t bring a small bag. Also there are places to go swimming during this hike and you’re also hiking in water, which I found uncomfortable without a towel. I specifically asked whether to bring towels and they said not to because towels are provided on the boat. But those towels are only for the snorkeling/swimming after lunch. I would have been so much more comfortable if I had known to bring a lightweight quick dry towel and a drawstring bag. There really should add this to the list of things to bring. Hiking through the rocks, especially the steep and tight places, was hard for me but even harder being wet and sandy and then it was uncomfortable remaining all wet during lunch. But the lunch was delicious, the time on the boat is wonderful, all the staff is so nice and helpful, the snorkeling and swimming is refreshing and beautiful and the open bar had delicious drinks. It’s a lovely day. I just wish I had been better prepared for the hike part.

Beautiful day! - Beautiful beach and fun scenic walk. Enjoyed our guide. Very expensive day ($1400 for 4 people) and had already paid for BVI entrance earlier in the week. Wish Jost trip could be combined with this trip.

The baths tour from St. John's - Good tour, would recommend. Only issue was that the seas where rough and we couldn't do the snorkeling portion.

Long boat ride for 15 min of fun - It took us 1 hour 50 min to get to virgin gorda and then 6 min to hike down to the beautiful rock formations and gorgeous beach. We were told we were allowed to stay there for 15 minutes! That’s not nearly enough time. Then when we headed back, we had to go through some tighter spots and given all the older people. It took 45 minutes to hike the 500 yards or so! Then we sat down for what turned out to be a solid lunch… But we waited 40 minutes to get our food! Food that was pre-ordered. Then we were told to rush through the food so that we can hop on the bus to get back to the boat. Then we went to a place to snorkel, but they only had 3 buoy’s to hook up to and they were full. So we meandered around for 20 min until someone finally left. The caves were interesting but there was almost no coral or fish. We did get to spend 45 min in the water but of course most people could only swim for 20 min or so. I would have preferred that we spent more time looking at the amazing beach or not waiting to get our food. The best part was we had to stop in St. John to go thru customs and they left 5 of us there!! We saw the boat leaving before we even got into customs. They might have had 50 people on the boat and they lost 10%!! Thank god it wasn’t when we’re were in the water! They eventually came back for my wife and I and this other family. We ended up getting back 45 min later than expected and missed our dinner reservation. Not one person apologized for leaving us at customs. The staff was friendly to a degree but not entertaining. Food on the boat and drink were fine. But to ride on a boat for 3:30 hours for 15 min at an amazing spot felt bad! Especially since we paid almost $800 for this trip!
