The English Lake District has recently been added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Enjoy the picturesque countryside and rugged hills while listening to your guide share insights about the Lake District’s history, geology, and the people who have influenced this beloved area.
During the journey, you will encounter some of the region’s most breathtaking sights, including the Borrowdale Valley, Buttermere, Honister Pass, and Grasmere. There are numerous stops along the way, with a highlight being the Castlerigg Stone Circle, offering stunning panoramic views. The friendly driver/guide will provide engaging commentary throughout this full-day tour of lakes and mountains.
- Children must be over the age of 5 to travel on this tour
- There will be a designated lunch stop where you’ll be able to purchase lunch

- Minimal walking is involved

- Luggage storage is available at the Windermere Information departure location
- Seats cannot be reserved
- Each passenger must have their own seat
- Please note, the tour starts from Windermere Information Centre @ 9.40am. It is not possible to be collected from a different location once chosen. If you are not at the correct pick up location and miss the tour, we cannot offer alternative arrangements.
- Due to a landslide, Kirkstone pass is currently unpassable. Therefore until further notice you will not visit Brotherswater or Ullswater on your tour. Our incredible driver guides will instead take you off the beaten track to a few other fabulous Lake District sites and lakes.
