A joyful day! - The best two days in Colombia were spent with Zebra Fisgona tours. On our first day we did the Anti-Tour in Chapinero. It was close to our hotel and let us get familiar with the neighborhood and some secret spots we would have never noticed without guides, Aleja and Vivi. We got to try a cafe, ice cream, fruit salad, arepas, a bookstore, and even did some clothes shopping. We had so much fun.
Several days later we did the Paloquemao Fruit Market with Vivi. She walked us all around the market and we tried tons of new fruits and savory snacks as well. A highlight was playing Tejo in La Candelaria.
Vivi and Aleja felt like friends at the end of our tours. It’s really a relaxing joy to have a fun local guide you around. 100% recommend.

The best experience - The Paloquemao Market tour with Aleja was the absolute highlight of our time in Bogotá! We tried 32 (!) fruits that were new to us, several delicious varieties of avocado, and other Colombian delicacies like lechona and avena. Aleja is a fantastic guide —she shares so much interesting information, she is the nicest person and knows the market vendors personally, which allowed us to connect with them too and made the experience even richer. We highly recommend this amazing tour to everyone!

The best tour company! - We did the tour with Aleja and had such a blast. She is awesome, knows tons of vendors, and made the tour one of our favorite things. All the fruit was clean and she brought accompaniments to make some of the flavors pop. The tour felt tailored to us and while it is a little more expensive - it is worth it. We had some really great conversations about Colombia. Don't use another tour company - Zebra Fisgona is the best.

Fantastic tours! Fruit Tour / Coffee-Cacao - Had an amazing time in Colombia for what was my birthday trip. Visited Bogota, Medellin, and Cartagena. Found out about Zebra Fisgona from a vlogging video on YouTube and instantly knew I wanted to tour with them. We booked 2 tours, a fruit tour and a coffee/cacao tour. Juani was our guide for both tours and she was amazing! Her love for her country and hometown, Bogota, was evident as she made our private tours feel like we had know each other for years. We visited an amazing fruit market and several coffee/cacao cafes that only locals know about. If you are looking for great tours and want to avoid the basic boring impersonal overpriced tourist trap tours, look no further than Zebra Fisgona. Highly recommend and would book again.

Awesome way to learn about the fruits of Colombia! - My partner and I recently did the Paloquemao Fruit Tour with Zebra Fisgona and it was great! Our guide, Aleja, was super friendly and knowledgable, and it's clear she and the other folks at Zebra Fisgona have gone out of their way to build relationships with merchants at Paloquemao. We can't wait to recommend Zebra Fisgona to friends and family who visit us in Bogotá!

Highly Suggest Using - One of the best tours anyway on the world I have taken. We became friends with the two ladies that operate the tour company. I would highly advise using them for anything in the bogota and surrounding area. They are knowledgeable about the entire area. Also, they showed us the area where all the fire arms recovered as part of the peace treaty was melted and now on display.

The best Paloquemao market tour with Zebra Fisgona tours - If you consider a guided tour of Paloquemao Farmer's Market tour in Bogota, look no further than Zebra Fisgona Tours. This company owned by Alejandra and Juanita will give you the best experience ever. They personally conduct their tours. My sister and I did this tour with Aleja and this was one of the highlights of Bogota. Aleja started our tour by taking us to a coffee shop across from the market where we had excellent cappuccinos and got to know each other. We then went to the market where we started in the flowers section. Colombia is the second biggest exporter of flowers in the world, after the Netherlands. Then Aleja stopped at a bread shop, Pandebonitos de la Virgen where she bought us 3 different types of bread and 3 different drinks to sample. This was the best pan de bono we had in all of Colombia. After this we moved into the fruit and vegetable part of the market where we tasted more than 20 fruits, some of it known to us, some totally unknown. We took lots of photos and Aleja even sent us a list of the fruit with Spanish names and pictures so that we could identify them afterwards on our photos. We also walked through the meat and fish sections which were very clean and she bought us arepas to taste. After this incredible tour she and her driver took us back to our apartment where she left her bicycle in the morning. Before heading home she first walked with us to show us the nearest supermarket to our apartment. She did so many extra things for us, not only on this day but also on the days we took other tours with her. She helped us with arrangements for the rest of our Colombia-tour which we could not expect from her. She even stored our luggage in her apartment while we visited the Amazon and unbelievably she even drove to our apartment to pick up our luggage and dropped it of again when we came back, without asking us anything. She and Juanita are really two amazing people. First check out all the Bogota tours Zebra Fisgona Tours has on offer, before you decide to book anything else. You will not be disappointed.

Fruit Market Tour - I recently embarked on the fruit market tour with Aleja and her business partner, an experience that turned out to be one of my highlights of my visit to Bogota. Discovering their tour through Viator and opting to book directly on their website proved not only cost-effective but also facilitated direct communication with Aleja.
Starting the morning with a cup of coffee set the perfect tone for our exploration. The early 8 am kickoff at Paloquemao Farmers Market was a strategic choice, allowing us to navigate the bustling market with fewer crowds. The tour unfolded with a delightful array of traditional Colombian breads, a generous serving of Arepa, and a fascinating showcase of over 15 exotic fruits, some of which were entirely new to me. The culinary journey concluded with scrumptious empanadas and a satisfying cup of coffee.
What made this experience truly exceptional was the genuine dedication of our tour guides. Aleja and her partner took their time, offering intricate details about the fruits' origins, names, and additional anecdotes. Their willingness to answer questions and the warm, personable approach made the tour not just informative but genuinely enjoyable.
This fruit market tour emerged as my favorite in Bogota, providing a unique and immersive experience that surpassed what we could have achieved independently. If you're visiting Bogota and want to delve into the richness of its fruit market, Aleja's tour is an absolute must. The personalized touch and in-depth insights guarantee an unforgettable adventure that goes beyond the ordinary.
