Amazing (private) tour! Great guide and customization to meet our wishes. - What a fantastic full day (6 hour) tour! We arrived by cruise and the directions of where to meet the tour was great (even included a little map). Jessica created a day just for our family (private tour for the 8 of us, kids, adults and seniors). She was so knowledgeable and her choices of locations were spot on. We never felt rushed and she tried to find places or locations (or simply provide tips) that was slightly less congested so we could have the best trip possible. Our driver also deserves praise (she is a genius at driving that van). We saw flamingos, swam with turtles, toured the island and heard some history, went to the national park and saw some amazing blow holes. Thank you so much. We will definitely reach out next time we cruise to Curacao.

Great way to see Curacao for the first time. - Since this was our first visit to Curacao, we wanted a more personalized tour of the island. When our tour guide, Sherwin, picked us up at the Starbucks a few blocks from the cruise ship terminal, he asked us what things we were interested in seeing on the island. We told him our preferences, and he setup a great tour specifically based on what we were interested in seeing. that alone made the trip great. We then proceeded to tour Willemstad and the beautiful buildings. We crossed the Queen Emma pontoon bridge, and saw much of the Dutch architecture in the city. We then drove to see Flamingo's in the wild, and I was able to get some amazing pictures. We then went to the Shete Boka National park for some amazing views of the volcanic rock north shoreline, and a beautiful blowhole where huge waves burst skywards. After this we traveled to a beach on the western side of the island where we were able to swim with a number of turtles. The images and videos I was able to make of the turtles feeding and swimming amongst us were great. The final portion of the trip was a lunch at a local restaurant that was located on a cliff's edge overlooking the bay. I had told Sherwin that I wanted to try the local beers and menu, and he recommended a great beer, and I had Conch for the first time. It was a great lunch relaxing and looking over the bay from the clifftop setting. We were absolutely impressed with the entire tour, and Sherwin is an excellent guide. He obviously enjoys what he is doing, and his intimate knowledge of the local customs was great for us to listen to. Overall, if i could give this tour a 6 star rating, I would. Highly recommended.

Highlight of Our Entire Cruise – An Unforgettable Day in Curaçao - We booked a private tour with Gone Caribe while our family was in port in Curaçao, and it ended up being the absolute highlight of our entire cruise. My wife, daughter, and I spent the day exploring the island in a way that felt personal, relaxed, and perfectly paced. We visited Hato Caves, explored beautiful beaches, saw flamingos in the national park, swam with sea turtles, and even did some cliff jumping (which turned out to be one of the most exciting moments of our trip). One of the most memorable stops was Shete Boka National Park. Because we were on a private tour, we were able to drive to parts of the park that the big bus tours simply can’t access. That meant almost no crowds and a much more personal experience. We got to see Boka Pistol up close, watching the waves crash and explode through the rock formations was incredible. We also had lunch at a stunning cliffside, beachside restaurant overlooking the ocean — a view we won’t forget anytime soon. Our guide was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and thoughtful throughout the day. She did a fantastic job explaining the history and culture of the island while making sure we were comfortable and having fun. She provided water, handled all the driving, and showed us breathtaking lookouts and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. The local food recommendations were spot on and some of the best meals we had on the entire cruise. We visited six other ports on this trip, and if I’m being honest, Curaçao was the stop I was least excited about beforehand. By the end of the day, it was my favorite. If you’re visiting and want a personalized, memorable experience that goes beyond the typical tourist stops, especially with access to places the large tours can’t reach, I can’t recommend Gone Caribe enough. It was worth every penny.

We love this tour company..choose them every single time! - We loved everything about this opportunity. Believe this review. We have traveled a lot internationally. We rely heavily on hiring tour companies, and this one was AMAZING! Our tour guide went above and beyond. He even got us to a grocery store. He asked us what we wanted to do and then he customized every stop. If we could give more stars we absolutely would. Go with this company it was worth every penny we paid.

No better guide... - For gone caribe tours Mr Williams was delightful. Sherwood’s knowledge of the Island was superb and he educated us well with facts and figures so we felt like we knew the place forever. Sherman was also an excellent driver and kept us ahead of the maddening crowd for the whole tour. He showed us the right places to shop and eat and we also had some special requests and he fulfilled them all. Took us to a local restaurant at the beach, food was great and so was the price. All kidding aside, his name is Sherwin, just like the paint, hence the name Mr. Williams. He made us feel comfortable the whole time and we highly recommend SHERWIN, HE’S THE BEST!!! We give the highest rating possible.

Best way to see Curacao - Gone Caribe is run by Joey and his wife. They make the trip personal to your expectations and provide you with numerous opportunities to enjoy the island. The trip started with a short walk to meet Joey at Starbucks, and we moved to his vehicle (parked at location) and started our journey. He took us to see the blow hole and some beautiful landscape of the coast (Shete Boka National Park). All while providing us details of the island and history. After a few other scenic stops, we went to Playa Piskado where he parked right at the beach and provided us snorkel gear and locked up our belongings (where he sat next to the vehicle and watched over everything (including us while swimming - bring a towel to the beach as we exited the water. He took us to an amazing restaurant that overlooked the ocean and a place where people would cliff dive (we witnessed one women take the leap of faith into the water). He recommended some local dishes and I was impressed with the taste and value. Afterwards we visited Santa Martha Bay and took pictures. With another stop at the Flaming Sanctuary where we witnessed several flamingo's eating and enjoying the water. Our final stop was in town where he walked us through Hamilton to see the Queen Emma bridge, shops and a stop for Gelato. Joey was very personable and made sure that we had a great day on the island. Near the end of the trip, you felt like you were with a friend taking around to see the site. I highly recommend this trip to anyone that visits Curacao. It is a great way to see the island in a very personalized visit.
