So much fun! - The La Leona waterfall hike was fantastic! I arrived at around 7:50 am without a reservation, and the tour company easily accommodated me. Since I was the only one there, they sent me out solo with my guide, Luis. The forest and the water were beautiful. Luis was very helpful and pleasant. He made the adventure even more fun. I think it's probably better to go on this hike either very early (7 or 8 am) or later (after 1pm) to avoid crowds. We got to the waterfall just as a large group was leaving and well ahead of a few more groups, so we had the entire trail and the waterfall to ourselves most of the time. I wholeheartedly recommend this trip and this company.

Must Do Experience! - Yes! This was the most amazing experience of our trip- and we had two other day excursions that were much more costly and picked us up from our rental. Nonetheless, each one of us said the Le Leona Waterfall experience was 10 times better. The other excursions were great, but not as amazing as this one. MAJOR SUGGESTION- do the first hike of the day!!!!! You won’t see another soul until you are hiking back to your car and then there are hoards of groups.

Abimael is one of a kind guide! - We had the most unforgettable experience on our tour—not just because of the scenery, but because of our incredible guide - ABIMAEL. What started as a fun adventure took a dangerous turn when we were suddenly caught in a strong river current. It could have ended in disaster, but thanks to our guide's quick thinking, he safely pulled us to anchoring rocks or ropes. We genuinely believe they saved our lives in a couple of places. Not only was our guide a true lifesaver, but they were also unbelievably kind and patient the entire trip. They took the time to capture every photo and video we wanted—no matter how many times we asked—and made sure we had amazing memories to look back on. If you're looking for someone who is not only professional and knowledgeable but also genuinely cares about your safety and experience, this is the guide you want. We can’t thank them enough, and we’ll be recommending this tour to everyone we know!

Adventurous and beautiful - Our tour guide Noel was incredible—he was knowledgeable about the wildlife, and took us on a beautiful hike. We even spotted monkeys! Swimming through the waterfalls was amazing and this is a once in a lifetime hike. A must do when visiting Costa Rica. There is a fantastic restaurant to get lunch at next to the agency after as well!

Beautiful forest hike and waterfall! - Amazing hike through the rainforest, and swimming through rivers to get to the gorgeous waterfall. You will 100% be wet so be prepared - they do have change rooms and showers so bring extra clothes. Wear water shoes - something you can walk int eh forest but are good in the water. They do provide a life vest and a dry bag to keep your phone and water bottle, but bring as little as possible. We were in a small group, and the guides are amazing, Joshua picked fresh fruit for us to eat, showed us different plants and animals in the forest, and helped us with any challenging parts of the journey. The whole trip took about 3 hours. I would highly recommend this trip - it was a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica.

All to ourselves - My wife and I had an awesome tour guide ( Freddy) all to ourselves.He really made it special for us. we started 9am and by miracle when we were in the falls we were by ourselves avoiding the crowd. It was a fantastic hike and hanging around the fall. One of the biggest highlights of our Costa Rica Trip. Highly recommend and if you can get Freddy to guide you! Pura vida that day

Wow!! I cannot say enough... - Wow!! I cannot say enough wonderful things about our hike to Le Leona waterfall thanks to our incredible guide, Alejandro. He was knowledgeable about the various plants and trees, and shared so much about the culture here in Costa Rica. 10/10 recommend going on this beautiful hike, and be sure to ask for Alejandro to guide you there!

Wow, wow, wow - Wow, wow, wow what an experience we had with Alexandro. He was such a great tour guide for this life changing event. The hike to get there is 75% hike and 25% swimming in some of the blueish water I had ever swan in. Alexandro was knowledgeable and we even saw monkeys on the hike. I would definitely recommend this, mind you we went to 3 total waterfalls and this one is the best waterfall and hike I have ever done!!! Must try trust me!!!
