PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT - CITY TOUR

Plaza de Armas - A representative from Chullos Travel Peru will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a free morning to rest and acclimate. At 2:00 pm, you’ll be picked up from the hotel for a city tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a 30-minute drive to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo (a ritual center on a rocky outcrop), a place filled with mysticism. After a 15-minute drive, arrive at PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water worship took place. After the tour, return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - We will pick you up from the hotel at 8:00 am to start the tour of the Sacred Valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, we will arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a guided tour of approximately 1 hour. Traveling along the Willka Mayu (Sacred River), we will reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean food. After lunch, we will drive for 30 minutes to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit its archaeological site, including the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces, with a 1-hour guided tour. Then, we will head to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night. In the evening, the guide will visit your hotel to provide details for your visit to Machu Picchu.

LOST CITY OF THE INKAS MACHUPICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Early in the morning, we will take the bus to the lost city of the Incas (Machu Picchu) for a 2.5-hour guided tour. Afterward, you will have free time in Aguas Calientes for lunch. Then, we will head to the train station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, a representative from Chullos Travel will meet you with a sign bearing your name and transfer you back to Cusco and your hotel. “Machu Picchu tickets are subject to availability, with the Ministry of Culture of Peru being the only authorized seller. Tickets will be purchased based on available circuits (1 and 2). Other circuits may be available for an additional charge. If no tickets are available, you will receive a full refund of your tour package.”

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Vinicunca Mountain - At 4:00 am, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the district of CUSIPATA, arriving at 6:30 am for a 30-minute buffet breakfast. We will then continue to the WASIPATA area, arriving at approximately 8:00 am to start the trek to the MOUNTAIN OF COLORS (WINICUNCA), which takes about 1.5 hours. We will spend around 40 minutes at the mountain before returning, which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. At 12:00 pm, we will regroup and return to CUSIPATA for a buffet lunch, arriving at approximately 1:00 pm. We will then return to Cusco, arriving at around 5:30 pm.

Plaza de Armas - Enjoy a free morning to relax, depending on your flight time. Alternatively, you can opt for an additional tour focused on Peruvian gastronomy and the preparation of pisco sour.

If tickets for Machu Picchu are unavailable, you will receive a full refund for your reserved tour package.
