MACHUPICCHU FULL DAY

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Hotel pick-up at 3:45 am for transfer to Ollantaytambo train station. The train departs at 6:10 am or 6:40 am, with a journey time of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Machupicchu village, staff will assist you in boarding the bus to the Machupicchu citadel for a guided tour lasting about 2 hours. Enjoy free time to explore or take photos. Return train departs at 4:22 pm or 6:20 pm to Ollantaytambo, followed by a bus to Cusco. Arrive at the Machupicchu village train station 30 minutes before departure.

Machupicchu District - Meet staff at the train station who will guide you to the bus station for the journey to the Inca citadel of Machupicchu, where a guide will provide a tour of this wonder.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Vinicunca Mountain - Hotel pick-up between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Travel south through Urco to Checacupe (2-hour bus ride), then continue to Pitumarca for breakfast. Proceed through small villages to Hanchipata - Quesiuno (1 hour and 20 minutes by bus), the starting point for the trek. Witness stunning mountains like Ausangate, beautiful blue lagoons, and other natural wonders. The hike to Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain) takes about 3 hours. Enjoy the view for an hour, capturing the breathtaking landscape before descending and returning to the bus. Lunch in Pitumarca, then return to Cusco.

HUMANTAY LAKE

Humantay Lake - Start the day with hotel pick-up between 4:30 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. Travel northwest of Cusco to Mollepata, showcasing the lush Apurímac River valley. Enjoy a well-deserved breakfast in this charming town before continuing to Soraypampa, the starting point of the hike, at 3,900 meters above sea level. After a brief rest, embark on the journey to Humantay Lake, located at 4,180 meters (13,779 feet). After a 1 hour and 20-minute ascent, admire the stunning landscape. Following the guide’s explanation and photo opportunities, enjoy time at the site before returning to camp for lunch with panoramic views of snowy peaks, then transfer back to Cusco.
