DAY 1: AIRPORT PICK UP- CITY TOUR

Cusco - • A representative from Machu Picchu Journey will greet you upon arrival at the airport and assist with your transfer to the hotel.
• Enjoy a free morning to relax and acclimate.
• At 2:00 PM, you will be picked up from the hotel for a city tour. The first stop is Koricancha (Temple of the Sun) for a 45-minute guided tour, followed by a short drive.
• After a 30-minute drive, you will arrive at Sacsayhuaman (Quechua for “place where the hawk is satiated”) for a 1-hour guided tour.
• Next, visit Qenqo, a mystical ritual center in a rocky outcrop.
• A 15-minute drive will take you to Puca Pucara (Red Fort), a military construction.
• The final stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca’s Bath, where water rituals were performed. The tour concludes with a return to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 PM.

DAY 2: CUSCO SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS - AGUAS CALIENTES (MACHUPICCHU)

Sacred Valley - • The tour of the Sacred Valley begins at 8:00 AM with a hotel pick-up. After a 1.5-hour drive, you will reach the ruins of Pisaq for a 1-hour guided tour.
• Following the Willka Mayu River, you will arrive in Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, for a buffet lunch featuring traditional Andean cuisine.
• After lunch, a 30-minute drive will take you to Ollantaytambo to explore the archaeological site, including the Temple of the Sun, Intihuatana, and the Princess Baths, during a 1-hour guided tour.
• After the tour, proceed to the train station to board the train to Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night in preparation for the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu. (In the evening, the guide will visit the hotel to provide details for your Machu Picchu visit.)

DAY 3: MACHUPICCHU

Machu Picchu - • Early in the morning, take the bus to the lost city of the Incas, Machu Picchu, a 30-minute journey where the guide will be waiting.
• Upon arrival at Machu Picchu, present your entry ticket to begin a 2.5-hour guided tour, followed by free time to explore.
• Return to Aguas Calientes for lunch.
• After lunch, head to the train station to board the train back to Ollantaytambo.
• At Ollantaytambo station, a representative from Chullos Travel Peru will meet you with a sign displaying your name and assist with your transfer back to Cusco and to your hotel.

DAY 4: INCA BRIDGE OF Q´ESWACHAKA

Qeswachaka Peru Tours - • The tour begins with a hotel pick-up at 7:00 AM. After a two-hour drive south of Cusco, visit the four lagoons.
• Enjoy a peaceful moment by the lagoons before visiting the small Pabellones volcano near Yanaoca.
• Arrive at the impressive Inca bridge, a suspension bridge made of vegetable fiber (Ichu) over the Apurimac River in Quehue district.
• The bridge has existed since the Inca era, with annual renovations and maintenance by local communities. An offering is made to Pachamama before renovations as a sign of respect and gratitude.
• On the return to Cusco, visit the colonial Inca bridge of Checacupe to observe the differences between the two bridges. The tour concludes in Cusco around 5:00 PM.
