AIRPORT PICKUP AND CITY TOURS

Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport - Upon your arrival at Cusco airport, our team will be there to greet you with a sign displaying the name of the lead traveler. We will escort you to your hotel for check-in, where you can drop off your luggage and freshen up. We suggest arriving in Cusco in the morning; otherwise, the city tour may be adjusted or deducted from the price if it cannot be conducted.

Qorikancha - At 12:45 pm, the tour will commence with a visit to QoriKancha. Inside, you will find small temples dedicated to the sun, moon, and stars, all retaining their original stone foundations. The exterior features gardens and fountains on the grounds of the Temple of the Sun.

Saqsaywaman - Here, you will witness the massive carved rocks, where the precise cutting and placement of the blocks are remarkable. It consists of three superimposed platforms that overlook the city of Cusco, complemented by the stunning landscape of the surrounding mountains.

Q’enqo - This site was an Inca ceremonial center carved into rock. On top of the rock, there are zigzag channels, and inside, there are small trapezoidal niches.

Puka Pukara - Puka Pukara is believed to be a military construction featuring stairways, terraces, and large walls, forming part of the defense system of the empire’s capital.

Tambomachay - This location showcases aqueducts and water sources from nearby springs, representing one of the finest examples of Inca hydraulic engineering. It was a center for water worship.

SACRED VALLEY

Cusco Region - The tour begins with a pickup at 7:45 AM, heading to the Sacred Valley. A brief stop of 15-20 minutes will allow you to learn about textiles and the weaving process. You will see various South American camelids, such as llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas, and have the chance to touch and photograph them. A 10-minute stop at the famous Mirador de Taray will offer classic views of the Sacred Valley.

Parque Arqueológico Pisac - At the archaeological park of PISAC, you can admire vast Inca agricultural terraces, residences, altars, water channels, and tombs. Our professional guide will explain the Inca agricultural methods. Then, we will visit the town of PISAC to explore one of the region’s most colorful traditional markets.

Urubamba - Our next destination is Urubamba, where we will arrive around noon to enjoy the finest Peruvian cuisine with a buffet lunch.

Ollantaytambo Sanctuary - The final stop of the day is Ollantaytambo, 30 minutes from Urubamba. Here, we will visit the Temple of the Sun and uncover the secrets of Ollantaytambo on a guided tour. We will then proceed to the train station in the same town to board the train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu town). This journey offers views of beautiful glaciers, snow-capped peaks, fertile green valleys, and Inca agricultural terraces.

Machu Picchu Station - Upon reaching Aguas Calientes, we will be waiting at the train station exit to take you to your hotel for the night. After check-in, you will have free time to relax, either in the hot springs of Aguas Calientes or by strolling through the town’s quaint streets.

GUIDED TOUR IN MACHU PICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - At 07:00 AM, after breakfast at the hotel, we will head with our guide to the bus station in town. The bus will take us to the main gate of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where our unforgettable experience begins. Our guide will share insights into the history of this incredible site, and you will capture the classic photo from the top with the guide’s assistance. We will explore the most significant areas with our guide. After the guided tour, you will have additional time to explore independently. Once the visit concludes, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch (not included) and explore further. At the designated time, you will board the train back to the Ollantaytambo train station.

Ollantaytambo - Upon arrival at the train station, our transport will be ready to take you back to your hotel in Cusco. The estimated arrival time is 6:00 PM.

GUIDED TOUR TO THE HUMANTAY LAGOON

Cusco Region - The tour begins at 4:30 a.m. with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco, followed by a drive to the town of Mollepata.

Mollepata - After a 3-hour journey, we will reach Mollepata, where we will stop for breakfast.

SORAYPAMPA - Upon arrival at Soraypampa, we will start our hike with our guide to the stunning Humantay Lagoon, situated at an altitude of 4,250 meters above sea level. The hike takes approximately an hour and a half.

Humantay Lake - At the Humantay Lagoon, you will have ample time to appreciate the majestic natural beauty and take photos before descending back to the bus, which will take us to Mollepata for a delicious lunch.

Mollepata - After returning to Mollepata, we will enjoy a buffet lunch before heading back to Cusco to conclude the tour.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN TOUR

Cusipata - We will pick you up at your hotel at 4:30 AM for a 3-hour drive to the South Valley of Cusco. Despite the early start, you will see picturesque Andean towns, Inca-era agricultural terraces, fertile valleys, and beautiful rolling mountains. We will pause to observe herds of llamas and alpacas while enjoying a delightful breakfast in Cusipata Village.

Vinicunca Mountain - At the starting point of the mountain trek, we will begin a guided walk along a winding path through the Andean mountains. After an hour and a half, we will reach the breathtaking Rainbow Mountain of Cusco (5,100 m / 16,732 ft). Take your time to admire its stunning beauty. We will spend about 30 minutes at the top, weather permitting, before descending. It will take another hour to return to the trek’s starting point, where we will board our transport to a restaurant in Cusipata for a buffet lunch. We will then return to Cusco.
