In the afternoon, begin a 2.5-hour hike to the Qomerqocha Lagoon, nestled between majestic snow-covered mountains. Here, you’ll have ample time to capture stunning photographs and spend your first night camping.

Enjoy breakfast at 6:00 a.m., then climb to the Palomani Pass for spectacular 360° views, including a breathtaking view of the Sacred Mountain (Inca’s time). Witness vicuñas in their natural habitat at over 5,000 meters altitude.
After appreciating nature’s beauty, descend to Ausangate Qocha for a delicious lunch. Continue with a gentle hike to Ananta, where you’ll spend the third night of the expedition.

Today is a highlight as you visit the most vibrant and popular spot of the 5-day Ausangate trek.
To be among the first visitors to the 7-color mountain, have breakfast at 5:30 a.m. and start hiking at 6 a.m. The 2.5-hour hike to the rainbow mountain offers excellent photo opportunities at the viewpoint. Return the same way to the Ananta camp, where the expedition cook will have an energizing lunch ready.
After lunch, around 2 p.m., complete the second part of the day’s walk to the Yana Qocha camp. Along this stretch, nature will continue to amaze you, with impressive views of colorful lagoons and the Ausangate Mountain from Chillca Pass.
As usual, enjoy a hot drink at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m.
