Must do!!!! - We had an amazing visit to the Sanctuary! Manuel was our tour guide - he was prompt upon pick up, spoke amazing English and was so informative about the Sanctuary and all the animals. They do amazing kind loving work with the animals and you can see how much they truly care and love the animals. This was one of top activities with our children in Cusco!!! Highly highly recommend!!!!

Safe the injured Wildlife - That this is a true animal sanctuary which is operated by many volunteers. They operate without any assistance from the Government and that they rely mostly on Tourism. It was a wonderful interaction with the wildlife, experience the condors flying, feeding the alpacas & Lamas….

Worth a Visit to meet the animals - Visiting the sanctuary was a very nice experience. It’s wonderful what they are doing to help the animals. Manuel picked us up and was very easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. We fed tortoises and llamas and were able to pet a toucan. We got up close to the condors and talked with the hilarious parrots. We even got to see the pumas face to face at their enclosure, and got a good look at a bear. Manuel explained the story of the different animals and why each was there and how they can be released back to the wild. This experience is worth a trip, only a couple hours total, to support the efforts and visit up close with animals.

Perfect day! - The tour taught us many animals that were saved from traffickers and other attractions that do not keep the health of the animals. Our guide, Aurelio, is very passionate about his volunteer work, and has conveyed his sincerity. Highly recommended!

A rich rescue zoo - Contact the merchant the day in advance to confirm the transfer time, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00. Here you will see many animals brought here for rescue for various reasons, some for smuggling, some for private miscarriage, abuse, etc. Some animals can live in the wild after treatment, but some animals are no longer allowed to live in the wild due to their damage. Can feed the lambs and rabbits they feed

Animal sanctuary - Absolutely loved our experience at the animal sanctuary. We did the VIP tour which was so worth the cost. Our guide was super nice and gave us a ton of information on Cusco and the Incas on the drive there. The tour of the sanctuary was super immersive and we learned a lot about what happened to the animals there and general information about each species in general. I saw many animals I had never seen before in a close up ethical environment. The animals are well taken care of and are there to be rehabilitated to go back to the wild.
