Day 1: Cusco, Capital of the Inca Empire

Cusco - Upon arrival in Cusco, guests will be transferred to their hotel. In the afternoon, an exclusive city tour begins, highlighting the remarkable and artistic district of San Blas, which beautifully blends Inca and Spanish cultures. The tour includes a visit to Plazoleta Nazarenas, surrounded by colonial buildings like the former headquarters of San Antonio Abad University and the adjacent church. The journey continues to the Plaza de Armas to explore the Cathedral, home to invaluable colonial artworks. The tour proceeds to the Koricancha, known in Quechua as Quri Kancha (Golden Temple), showcasing its grandeur.

Day 2: Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman

Sacsayhuaman - In the morning, escape the crowds to explore Sacsayhuamán, a stunning ceremonial fortress with massive structures set amidst breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Inca shrine of Qenqo, an ancient Puma temple with a sacrificial altar. The tour concludes at the Puca Pucara viewpoint and Tambomachay, a monument showcasing impressive architectural knowledge and considered a cornerstone of Andean cosmology. Overnight stay in Cusco.

Day 3: Sacred Valley of the Incas: Pisac Inca & Colonial Town, Inkariy Museum & Live Cultural Museum of Yucay

Pisac Market - Today, the Sacred Valley of the Incas welcomes visitors. Explore the Inca and Colonial Pisac, one of the most beautiful archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley, offering views of the colonial town of Pisac. Enjoy a walking tour of the colonial town and shop at the handicraft market. Next, visit the impressive Inkariy Museum, where a delicious lunch will be served. A guided tour of the museum reveals cultural representations of pre-Hispanic civilizations of ancient Peru. The next stop is the Live Cultural Museum of Yucay, a tourist complex where guests can see and feed Andean camelids like llamas and alpacas, and locals demonstrate traditional weaving and dyeing techniques. Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

Day 4: Sacred Valley of Incas: Moray Terraces, Salt Mines of Maras & Ollantaytambo, Inca Living Town

Ollantaytambo - Begin the day at the Living Culture Yucay Museum, dedicated to preserving and valuing the cultural and agricultural activities of the Sacred Valley. Continue exploring the Sacred Valley’s treasures, starting with Moray, known for its impressive concentric terraces designed to recreate microclimates, ensuring the empire’s agricultural production. The journey continues to Maras, home to ancient colonial salt mines. The striking contrast of white pools against the green valley creates a postcard-like scene. Enjoy a buffet lunch before heading to the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, where the Inca stonework technique is on display. Finally, board the train at Ollantaytambo station to reach Machu Picchu town, where hotel staff will assist with accommodations.

Day 5: Machu Picchu, The Lost Citadel

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - Board the bus to ascend the winding road to Machu Picchu, offering spectacular views of the Urubamba River and its canyon. The Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu, captivates with its terraces, ceremonial shrines, steps, and urban areas, exuding energy. After a guided tour, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. At the designated time, return to Cusco and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 6: Farewell Day

• Machu Picchu has implemented new visitor circuits, with three main routes with specific differences to distribute passengers in various areas. These changes are intended to improve the visitor experience and preserve the integrity of the archaeological site. The circuit with route 2 will be given as priority and if it is not available, the options of taking circuit 3B or circuit 1B will be informed so that you can confirm your decision before the tickets are issued.
