PICK UP FROM THE AIRPORT - CITY TOUR

Plaza de Armas - A representative from Chullos Travel Peru will greet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a free morning to rest and acclimate. At 2:00 pm, you’ll be picked up from the hotel for a city tour, starting with a 45-minute guided visit to Koricancha (Temple of the Sun). Afterward, a 30-minute drive will take you to Sacsayhuaman (from Quechua Saqsay = place of satiation and Waman = Falcon, meaning “place where the Falcon is satiated”). Next, visit Qenqo (a ritual center on a rocky outcrop), a place filled with mysticism that you’ll feel upon entering the rock formation. A 15-minute drive will then bring you to PucaPucara (red fortress), a military construction. The last stop is Tambomachay, known as the Inca Bath, where water worship was practiced. After the tour, you’ll return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.

SACRED VALLEY OF THE INKAS - AGUAS CALIENTES

Sacred Valley of the Incas - We’ll pick you up from the hotel at 8:00 am to start the tour of the Sacred Valley. After a 1.5-hour drive, we’ll arrive at the archaeological site of Pisaq for a guided tour of about an hour. Following the Willkamayu River, also known as the Sacred River, we’ll reach Urubamba, the capital of the Sacred Valley, where you’ll enjoy a buffet lunch featuring typical Andean cuisine. After lunch, a 30-minute drive will take us to the town of Ollantaytambo to visit its archaeological site, including the Temple of the Sun, The Intihuatana, the Princess Baths, and Andean terraces, with a guided tour lasting about an hour. Then, we’ll head to the train station to board a train to Aguas Calientes, where we’ll spend the night. In the evening, your guide will visit your hotel to provide all the details for your visit to Machu Picchu the next day.

LOST CITY OF THE INKAS MACHUPICCHU

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - We’ll wake up early to catch the bus to the Machu Picchu ruins. You’ll have a guided tour, the duration of which depends on the type of entry ticket. After the tour, return to the village for lunch. You’ll have free time before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo and then a bus to Cusco. Arrival time will depend on the train schedule.

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN

Vinicunca Mountain - At 4:00 am, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and head towards the district of CUSIPATA. At 6:30 am, we’ll arrive in CUSIPATA for a 30-minute buffet breakfast. At 7:00 am, we’ll depart for the WASIPATA area, arriving at the trailhead around 8:00 am. We’ll then start our 1.5-hour trek to the MOUNTAIN OF COLORS (WINICUNCA), spending about 40 minutes at the summit. The return trek will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Around noon, we’ll regroup at the trailhead and begin our return to CUSIPATA, arriving around 1:00 pm for a buffet lunch. We’ll head back to Cusco at 2:40 pm, arriving at approximately 5:30 pm.

HUMANTAY LAKE

Humantay Lake - At 4:00 am, we’ll pick you up from your hotel and drive to the town of Mollepata for breakfast. We’ll then continue to Soraypampa, where we’ll begin a 1.5-hour hike to the Humantay Lagoon, situated at an altitude of 4,250 meters above sea level. Along the way, you’ll appreciate the local flora and fauna. After descending back to Soraypampa, we’ll drive to Mollepata for lunch before returning to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 pm.

INCA BRIDGE OF Q’ESWACHAKA

Qeswachaka Peru Tours - The tour begins with a 7:00 am pick-up from your hotel. After a nearly two-hour drive south of Cusco, we’ll visit the four lagoons. After some peaceful time by the lagoons, we’ll visit the small Pabellones volcano near the town of Yanaoca. We’ll then arrive at the impressive Inca bridge, a hanging bridge made of vegetable fiber (Ichu) over the Apurímac River in the district of Quehue. This bridge dates back to the Inca period and is maintained annually by the local communities. Before the renewal of the bridge, an offering is made to Pachamama as a sign of respect and gratitude. You’ll have the opportunity to cross the bridge from both sides. On the way back to Cusco, we’ll visit the Inca colonial bridge of Checacupe to observe the differences between the two bridges. The tour concludes in Cusco around 5:00 pm.
