Welcome to Cusco | Afternoon City Tour

Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport - Upon your arrival at Cusco airport, our team will be there to greet you with a sign displaying the main traveler’s name. We will escort you to your hotel for check-in, where you can leave your luggage and freshen up. Get ready for the city tour later in the day.

Museo de Sitio Qorikancha - At 12:45 PM, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to QoriKancha. Inside, you will find small temples dedicated to the sun, moon, and stars, all retaining their original stone foundations. Outside, enjoy the gardens and fountains on the grounds of the Temple of the Sun.

Saqsaywaman - Here, you will witness the massive carved rocks, where the precise cutting and placement of the blocks are remarkable. It consists of three superimposed platforms that overlook the city of Cusco, complemented by the stunning landscape of the surrounding mountains.

Q’enqo - This site was an Inca ceremonial center carved into rock. On top, there are zigzag channels, and inside, small trapezoidal niches.

Puka Pukara - Believed to be a military construction, it features stairways, terraces, and large walls, forming part of the defense system of the empire’s capital.

Tambomachay - Here, you can admire aqueducts and water sources from nearby springs, showcasing one of the finest examples of Inca hydraulic engineering. This site was a center for water worship. After this guided tour, we will return to Cusco.

Sacred Valley | Pisac | Ollantaytambo | Train to Machu Picchu

Cusco - We will begin with a pick-up at 7:45 AM and head to the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be at the famous Mirador de Taray for classic photographs of the Sacred Valley.

Parque Arqueológico Pisac - At this Inca site in Pisac, enjoy breathtaking views of the valley. Here, you can see vast Inca agricultural terraces, residences, altars, water channels, and tombs, while learning about Inca agricultural methods from our professional guide.

Sacred Valley - Relish an extraordinary buffet lunch (with vegetarian and vegan options) at one of the best restaurants in the Sacred Valley.

Ollantaytambo Sanctuary - After lunch, we continue our journey along the Urubamba River to Ollantaytambo. This location was heavily fortified as it was the gateway to the road to Machu Picchu. Many significant events occurred here during the Spanish invasion. Discover its fascinating history with your guide. Then, we will take you to the station in the same town to board the train. This 1:45-minute train ride offers incredible views of the mountainous terrain before reaching Machu Picchu.

Aguas Calientes - Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (the town of Machupicchu), we will be waiting at the train station exit to escort you to your hotel for the night. Settle into your hotel, and after check-in, enjoy a free afternoon at your leisure.

Machu Picchu | Afternoon Return to Cusco

Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - After breakfast at the hotel, we will head with our guide to the bus station in town. This bus will take us to the main gate of the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, where our unforgettable experience begins. Our guide will share extensive knowledge about the history of this incredible place, and you will capture the classic photo from the top with your guide’s assistance. We will explore the most significant sites with our guide. Once the guided tour concludes, you will have additional time to explore independently. After the visit, we will take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time for lunch (not included) and extra time to explore Aguas Calientes. At the designated time, you will board the train to the Ollantaytambo train station.

Cusco - Upon arrival at the train station, our transport will be ready to take you back to your hotel in Cusco. Estimated arrival time is 6:00 PM.

Rainbow Mountain | Full Day Tour

Cusco - We will pick you up at your hotel at 4:30 AM to embark on a 3-hour journey to the South Valley of Cusco in our transport. Despite the early start, you will have the chance to observe picturesque Andean towns, Inca-era agricultural terraces, fertile valleys, and beautiful rolling mountains. We will stop to observe herds of llamas and alpacas, providing entertainment while you enjoy a delicious breakfast in Cusipata Village.

Vinicunca Mountain - Upon reaching the starting point of the mountain trek, we will begin a walk with our guide along a winding path through the Andean mountains. After an hour and a half of walking, we will arrive at the stunning Rainbow Mountain of Cusco (5,100 m / 16,732 ft). Take your time to admire its breathtaking beauty. We will spend about 30 minutes at the top, depending on weather conditions, before starting our descent. It will take another hour to return to the trek’s starting point, from where we will board our transport to a restaurant in Cusipata for a buffet lunch. Then, we will board our transport again to return to Cusco.
