- Cusco - The Temple of San Cristóbal is a colonial church perched on the hillside above Cusco, providing one of the finest early panoramic views of the city. Constructed in the 16th century, it is situated on the site of a former Inca palace and showcases a blend of Andean and Spanish architectural styles. Its elevated position makes it a favored spot for photography and orientation.
- Cusco - Colcampata is an archaeological site featuring remarkable Inca retaining walls, crafted with the empire’s signature precise stonework. These structures are believed to have been part of the complex of the Inca ruler Manco Capac. The site highlights the Incas’ advanced engineering skills and offers a glimpse into the early urban development of Cusco.
- Plaza de Armas - Cusco’s Plaza de Armas is the historic core of the city and a symbolic center of both the Inca and Spanish colonial worlds. Once the ceremonial heart of the Inca Empire, it later became home to cathedrals, arcades, and colonial mansions. Today, it is surrounded by restaurants, shops, and significant landmarks, making it a vibrant gathering place for visitors and locals.
- Sacsayhuaman - Sacsayhuamán is one of the most extraordinary Inca archaeological complexes, renowned for its massive stone walls composed of multi-ton blocks fitted together with incredible precision. Located on a hill overlooking Cusco, it served both ceremonial and military functions. The site’s scale and engineering continue to astonish archaeologists and travelers alike.
- Q’enqo - Qenqo is a ceremonial site carved into a large limestone outcrop, featuring labyrinthine passages, altars, and channels believed to have been used for rituals dedicated to deities such as the sun, moon, and Pachamama. Its name, meaning “zigzag,” is derived from the carved channels found throughout the site. It provides insights into Inca spirituality and ceremonial practices.
- Pucara - Puca Pucara, meaning “Red Fortress,” is a small archaeological site constructed of reddish stones that glow at sunset. It likely served as a military checkpoint, administrative center, or resting place for travelers and Inca nobility. From its terraces, one can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Andean landscape.
- Cusco - The Cristo Blanco statue is a large white Christ figure overlooking Cusco from the nearby hillside. Donated by a community of Palestinian refugees in the 1940s, it stands as a symbol of peace and hospitality. From this vantage point, one can enjoy one of the most stunning panoramic views of the entire city and its surrounding mountains.

Tourist trap - don’t even think to come near - The operator is an amateur who created a tourist trap. Don’t get near!!!
The bad experience started with pickup.
1. We got notified, after the time we were supposed to be picked up (!!!), that they cannot pick us up.
We took an uber to get to a new meeting point they sent us and in the middle of the ride they changed to a new location.
Eventually we started the tour over 1 hour late!!! because same happened with other people we waited for additional 40 minutes.
In general, we felt it is a very amateur management
2. The sound system in the bus didn’t work properly. Also the sits are extremely uncomfortable for tall people like myself
3. They promised a city scenic tour.
In practice it is on the outskirts and the countryside. Not scenic views and definitely not city.
4. The quality of the info you are getting in an amateur in the best case. Completely unprofessional.
5. The worst part… the tour is around trying to squeeze as much money on add-ons as possible.
You only stop at places where they try to sell you something or get a tip. There a no focus on the actual tourist experience.
I prefer to pay more for the experience but to get a good one.
Please save your time. It is way better to take a walking tour or something similar.
