Really delicious and authentic - Really nice experience with great food at the end. We were initially at the market together, where Ronal explained a lot about the local products and made the purchase. During the final cooking he took time for every question and it was a very casual atmosphere.

Wonderful culinary experience - This tour was expertly held by Ronald, who took such good care of my son when he was feeling the altitude sickness during the market tour. He immediately got coco leaves, chocolate and a helpful smelling liquid called Florida water. Full recovery!! We then went to the workshop and made the most lovely meal. Ronald explained all the foods, traditions, and cooking techniques. Delicious fruits and cheeses for appetizers and then ceviche and stuffed peppers for dinner. We also made pisco sours and passion fruit drinks. So much attention to detail and history of Peruvian cuisine. Highly recommend!

Restaurant quality food and a great class! - I really enjoyed this cooking class. The ceviche we made and the pisco sour tasted better than what I had in some restaurants around Cuzco and that alone is enough for me to recommend the class. It is not basic cooking at all! The chef is truly passionate about Peruvian cuisine and good ingredients. One thing that surprised me was that although we each cut our own vegetables, they all went into the same bowl afterward. I later talked to a friend who took a different cooking class in Cuzco and it was the same there, so it’s definitely a local style of cooking together. It did not take away from the experience for me, but it is something good to know in advance. In any case, the food was absolutely delicious and authentically Peruvian. The market tour was a highlight as well. We visited the local market, not just the tourist one, and since it was Sunday many vendors were out on the street which made it feel very authentic. I loved learning about local fruits and ingredients and getting to taste them after the market tour. I also appreciated receiving the list of recipes and recommended restaurants after the class. Overall, it was a great way to spend the evening learning something new and delicious instead of eating out.

Wonderful local experience - Ronal is a local to Cusco and shared his knowledge and authenticity through this experience - we toured the market like locals, learned about the native produce, and the dishes we cooked were fantastic! He even sent us the recipes for the dishes we made and lists of recommended restaurants in Cusco. You can tell Ronal loves sharing his culture and this was a great experience.
