Pucapucara - Then, explore Puca Pucara, derived from Quechua words meaning “red fortress.” This strategic site was used for monitoring access to and from the Imperial city of Cusco, serving as a territorial boundary.
Tambomachay - Finally, visit Tambomachay, known as the Inca Baths for its water sources, or the “waters of eternal youth” due to its constant flow. Located 9 km from Cusco, it offers a glimpse of the Inca trail to Machu Picchu. The city tour concludes around 6:30 p.m.
