• Sacsayhuaman - Following this delightful experience, take a taxi to the entrance of the Sacsayhuaman fortress. Before entering, meet with a local artisan who specializes in decorating the ‘Torito de Pukara.’ Originally crafted in Pucará, about 100 kilometers north of Puno, these small ceramic bulls are still made today and placed on rooftops for protection. Once everyone has finished painting their little bulls, enter the impressive Sacsayhuaman fort. Your guide will share insights about the fortress and the final battle between the Incas and Spaniards that occurred here. Behind the fortress, naturally carved stone slides await, providing fun for the kids. The tour concludes here, and you will walk back to Cusco’s main square.
