- Moray - Next, in 25 minutes we will arrive at the archaeological complex of Moray. Moray has several circular agricultural terraces. According to some historians, these structures were used by the Incas to grow plants from warmer climates.
- Salinas de Maras - Our next stop will be the Maras Salt Mines, which are located 25 minutes from Moray. The Salt Mines contains dozens of square wells of salt water. These wells are filled with salt water that comes from the underground. After being exposed to sunlight, the water evaporates leaving the salt behind. Then, the salt is gathered by the local population and sold at the local market.
-
Urubamba - After exploring the Maras Salt Mines, we will drive to Urubamba town. Urubamba is located in the lowest section of the Sacred Valley, so the climate is a little warmer. We will be having a buffet lunch here.
After having lunch, we will visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo. -
Ollantaytambo - We will leave Urubamba after lunch and in 30 minutes we will be in the town and archaeological park of Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo is famous for its long stone stairs, which lead to main area of the complex. Like Pisac, Ollantaytambo was an Inca royal palace.
We will also visit the Ollantaytambo town, where you will be able buy some souvenirs. -
Pisac - After exploring Ollantaytambo, the transportation will take us for 1 hour and 30 minutes to the town and archaeological complex of Pisac, located in the Sacred Valley. The town of Pisac is a cozy village located next to the Urubamba river. It has a traditional market where you can buy souvenirs and taste the local food.
On the other hand, the archaeological complex of Pisac is located on a nearby hilltop. It comprises numerous stone buildings that were the houses of the Inca nobility.
After exploring this beautiful place, we will return to Cusco city, where we will be arriving around 7:00 pm.

Pleasant experience - Very good experience, the guide explained the places we visited, they gave us enough time to take the photos and appreciate the landscape, my children of 11 and 12 years were happy and entertained, my wife and I enjoyed the family day taking our children to know in a safe and didactic way the history of the Sacred Valley of Cusco.

Worth every penny. - Christian was a top tier guide. He did an amazing job of explaining the places we went to. He was also super chill and made great conversation. Despite accomplishing much in a short span, we never felt rushed.
Furthermore sometimes when food is included in a tour, it's usually subpar, but the buffet lunch was fantastic and our group was pleasantly surprised by the quality.
Cannot recommend this tour enough, especially if you find it difficult to adapt to altitude at Cusco in the first couple of days.

It was an enjoyable tour... - It was an enjoyable tour that hit many of the top tourist sights. We learned a lot taking the tour. It was convenient pick up. It takes a very long day to see all the sights. The lunch buffet was nice but not deluxe.

No show. Left us high and dry - No one ever showed up. I had a confirmation and everything. They never notified me nor did they reach out. When I had my hotel concierge speak to the tour company they claimed the reservation was cancelled (it was not) and they had no way to reach me , which can't be true because all of my contact info was entered at the time of booking. If I could give zero stars I would
