Amazing ride awesome area and would go again definitely. - Gabriel was very punctual and, his workers and the gentleman that picked us up from our hotel was very friendly. Gabriel's workers were kind answered questions and made us feel welcomed and at ease with there horses. And as well the horses were perfectly trained and had zero problems for being first time on horse back, would absolutely recommend him and the temple of the moon ride to anyone that is visiting cusco area 5 star.

Great views, cute horses! - So fun! Gabriel is very knowledgeable and you can tell that his horses are well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this as a fun half day activity to explore other areas of Cusco and see it from afar.

11/10 would recommend - We took the trail with Gabriel (the third) himself. He explained to us that his family has owned this place for three generations (originally owned by Gabriel the first)! He did such a great job of explaining the history of the moon temple and other sites. The place is still family owned and you can tell they take amazing care of their horses. This is my favorite thing I’ve done in Cusco so far - I highly recommended this!! This is also suitable for all skill levels.

Fantastic experience, relaxing and unique - This is a fantastic experience, especially for those seeking something less "touristy". Gabriel is an amazing guide and speaks perfect English. I was the only person on the tour for the afternoon I went, and Gabriel was still super thorough and patient and did not skip anything. The horses are beautiful, tall, clean, well-groomed. You can tell Gabriel's family really loves and cares for them. I highly recommend this tour to enjoy some relaxing time and get to know the local communities better.

This ranch is highly recommended! - If you are looking for an adventurous tour on horseback in Cusco, then this ranch is a must! My boyfriend and I left on a private tour with Gabriel. We were given a safety helmet (a tok) and each a bag of snacks for during the trip. Very nice! The tour itself was too short for me, but my fiancé was glad it didn't take too long. We saw two beautiful Inca sites along the way and the trip was beautiful.

Gabriel is the best tour guide in all of Peru! - What a fun tour! I went on my honeymoon with my husband to peru for 11 days with tons of tours scheduled and this was the best tour! I have 20 years horseback riding experience, my husband had 0. Gabriel accommodated both of us allowing us to travel at comfortable speeds even in a group setting. He was very knowledgeable about the ancient sites we visited and clearly passionate about the history and culture. His ranch was impressive and the horses were all so friendly but definitely excited to get on the trail and get moving, which we loved because that was the energy we brought. 10/10 to Gabriel, his assistant, and the horses!

First time rider successfully managed! Amazing Experience! Thank you Gabriel! - It was an amazing experience! It’s my first time riding horses. I was kinda worried when arriving. However, Gabriel and his helper helped me a lot. They led the horse “Bonito”, who is super sweet and friendly, to me, taught me how to control a horse and helped taking videos and pictures. When horses were scared by a motor cycle, they gave immediate response and instructions. Bonito is kinda emulative when on an open grass area and wanted to catch up with the horse in front of him, but Gabriel went down his horse and helped leading Bonito so he wouldn’t jump and would behave better. It was on an uphill path and I know it was super difficult to catch breath when walking this much on a plateau. Thank you so much Gabriel! Muchos gracias ^-^ We also had a small snack lunch on a mountain, it’s great! It was such a great experience, I now know how to ride a horse (hopefully). If I ever had a chance to come to Cusco again, I will definitely try again!

The best and only option for riding in Cusco - Absolutely AMAZING experience at Gabriel’s ranch, I couldn’t recommend it more. 100% commitment to both animal welfare and customer experience, the horses are very well taken care of and Gabriel proved to be a phenomenal local guide. Worth noting many alternative tour providers keep their horses saddled and tethered all day in the sun (!) so I highly recommend going with Gabriel’s ranch to guarantee you support the most ethical local business
