Thank you very much to Guillermo and the driver very kind. DE fact there was a couple who could NO longer continue and the return running POR 2 horses so they could lkegar. The place is beautiful you will have NO regrets. Decide POR this agency you will have NO regrets and if you have Guillermo greet him for me.

Lagoa Humantay - What a wonderful place!!! Upon reaching the lagoon, the effort of climbing is rewarded. The climb and descent are not easy, so be physically prepared.

Humantay Lagoon, Peru: HERMOSAAA! - They picked us up at the Andén Inka Hotel in Cusco around 4:30 a.m. After 2 hours we stopped for breakfast. Since the lagoon is located at 4,200 meters above sea level, we followed the locals' instructions and avoided eating too much food. After breakfast, after approximately 1 hour of traveling by bus, we arrived at a location located approximately 5 km from the lagoon. In principle you have to go up but there are two possible paths, one with a slight slope and another shorter one with a steeper slope which is the one we chose because there was a machine repairing the other path. After 4km of easy walking except for the initial climb, where we found some sick people, we reached the final climb of approximately 1km in length. We decided to rent horses that took us very close to the end of the climb and after a short walk we arrived at the lagoon. As the day was sunny and windless, the spectacle that nature offered us was beautiful. It reminded me a lot of the Laguna de los Tres that can be seen in El Chalten, Argentina. The truth is that as usual, nature left me speechless.

Incredible experience - 5 stars the lagoon, the visual paradise and the experience of getting there. We paid for a round-trip tour from Cusco by minibus, with a light breakfast included as well as lunch. We decided to rent horses to go up (I recommend doing this if you don't have an intermediate or advanced hiking level, as the climb is steep). In total no more than $80.

Pretty! - Extremely exhausting trail by the rarefied air but worth it for the stunning beauty of the place (which to me, is one of the most beautiful in Peru. I found it more beautiful than Machu Picchu). Pay too much!

HORSE, EXPLOITATION - Everything that was the excursion (breakfast, buffet lunch), excellent, Just like the guide! Very kind. I put 3 circles, because, I made the SERIOUS ERROR OF HORSEBACK RIDING, out of fear. Honestly the worst decision in the world, I'm so sorry. Who knows how many times a day they should go up, the guide told me that 1 or 2 times maximum, however, I don't think so. I have seen the tiredness of the poor animals, being forced to follow. Please DO NOT GO ON HORSEBACK 🙏🏽 I made the terrible mistake of doing it, there should not be that. Well, animal exploitation.

Not worth this walk - It's not a quiet trail to do. I had a bad time. I thought I was going to faint. For lack of air. Spends most of the time on the trail and when arriving at the lake a sunshine. I don't think this walk is worth it. When descending need care and the rocks slip. Some people who went with us slipped more than once and fell. Due to the large number of people, you end up getting lost from the guide. Not really worth it. Other tours are interesting.
